The Blue Heron Resort was an awesome place to stay. Good location. The condo we rented was on the 14th floor and had a wonderful view from the balcony. The furnishings left a little to be desired. The listing said it would sleep 6 but the fold out futon was small and only was big enough for 1 person. There was only the futon and 1 chair to sit on so there was not seating for 6 people. We looked at other units while we were there and found them to offer more amenities and furnishings. In my opinion this unit needs more furnishings and a better sleeper sofa for its guests. We ended up purchasing an air mattress ( which we left for the next people) to be able to have room for 6 people to sleep. There was not very many cleaning products when we arrived so we bought some supplies and left them when we left. We also bought some extra towels and wash cloths as there was only 6 of each in the condo. All in all we enjoyed our stay. We just feel the owners should up the quality of furnishings. Our host Malcolm was excellent! He communicated very well and answered any questions we had. Malcolm worked with us to get us a late check out on the day we left which was helpful because we had a late flight. If the furnishings in this unit were upgraded we would be very interested in renting it again next year. Our overall stay was great, Malcolm did a wonderful job and we enjoyed it.

Our flight arrived early and the host was wonderful about getting us in, that was so appreciated! The condo was beautiful. We liked the comfy couch, as well as the king sized bed. The view from the balcony overlooking the lake was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings and evenings. The pools were very nice, and we definitely made use of the hot tub. We grilled out two nights. Tiki bar at the pool was wonderful! They stayed open from morning until late evening, which was nice. We felt close to everything, Disney Springs, Epcot etc. Our only suggestions would be to have nicer, more comfortable patio furniture. And also, the kitchen definitely could be better appointed with better pots, pans, bowls, utensils, dish rags and dish towels etc We look forward to returning.

The location and view are 5 Star. We loved our time there! Overall it’s a 3 Star property because it badly needs to be updated. Sofa sinks down in a hole like sitting on the floor. Needs small modern bedside tables, new enlarged TV and inexpensive beach pictures and decor. Large balcony is wonderful but only has small wicker table and chairs. It needs 2 rockers or comfortable outdoor chairs to fully enjoy.
