Amazing water view in the heart of Downtown

Excellent location. Walk to everything. Quiet at night. Southport a true treasure. Lot's of steps to enter if you have mobility issues. Plenty of local restaurants, food really good. Take harbor cruise!

This was a wonderful stay. Located in the heart of downtown, everything is in walking distance. Lots of space in the unit and the king bed was very comfortable. All the amenities you need in the kitchen were included, along with a Keurig. When we were in the unit, we spent a lot of our time on the front balcony. My husband loved to watch for the ships going by. Great people watching and we were pleasantly surprised with a middle school grad parade. Coffee shop two doors down, Spikes Dairy Bar (a must!) short walk, and all of the great restaurants were close, including the Provision Company, Fishy Fishy, The Frying Pan, and so much more. The parking is on the street which was a concern for us BUT no issues as we didn’t need our vehicle but once. Dawn, property manager was great. The only issue was the pool wasn’t available to use due to an issue they had with it but I believe it’s now fixed. Not a big deal for us. We will definitely stay again!

Very nice stay in Southport. The location is great. There are some really good restaurants, shopping looked ample, and getting around to various sites was easy. Everyone in Southport was so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very comfortable and big. Loved having two bathrooms. We didn't spend much time at the property, but overall our stay was very nice. We did not cook, but it looked like the kitchen is well stocked. The only coffee maker is a Keurig, so bring pods or go to the coffee shop right next door (very nice!) Too early in the season for the pool, but I'm sure in the summer it would be a nice feature. I would definingly return.The only suggestion for the host is to upgrade all linens and add a tea kettle!

There simply isn’t a water view of any value. Technically, you can see the water from the balcony but not a view worthy of mentioning in the least. The amenities were lacking and we wish we had know to bring our own soap, shampoo, conditioner, bottled water, etc. These are expected in our view. The checkout checklist is extensive so prepare accordingly, as everything is expected of the guest (load and start dishwasher, washer, take out trash, etc.). I would rather stay at a hotel and not deal with this checkout checklist moving forward. The place was clean and tidy. While it was in the heart of downtown, the overall experience was tainted for us by the construction taking place downstairs early on Saturday morning. We had to leave for the day due to the excessive noise, drilling, sawing, hammering, etc.
