About this house rental

Surrounded by mountains and 5 acres of lawn and woods, our home is a guaranteed relaxing time. Wildlife greets you while the sun comes up over the mountain. Enjoy grilling on gas or over coals on the outside kitchen. Light an outside fire on the deck and watch the sunset. Or play some corn hole or frisbee on our extensive lawn. Antiquing in town and free summer swimming pool is only 10 minutes away, along with many other destinations, in every season. Great for a break or a remote work week.

Stayed in Walton to attend an event at SUNY Oneonta (about 40 mins away). House is on beautiful grounds - perfect for being outside 'til the stars came out. House is clean, cozy, and clearly loved. I felt completely at home by the second night. Only thing to consider: those with mobility issues may find the entrance (on a slope), indoor stairs, and high entry into the tub a difficulty. Over all though, it was a very welcome getaway!

This is the second time my family and I have stayed here. It's always very clean and we'd definitely stay again. The owners are very easy to communicate with and respond very quickly.
