Located under a mile from the world-famous Gallatin River, with Beaver Creek flowing directly through the backyard, this is the premier mountain home base for your Big Sky adventure. Experience complete serenity at The Wildwood Lodge while remaining close to local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.
Summer Adventures
Escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature. The property features a spacious lawn, garden, private creek access and an expansive deck overlooking the wooded forest, complete with a private hot tub.
Fishing: Easily walk to the Gallatin River for world-class fly-fishing.
Recreation: Hike or mountain bike directly into the Porcupine Creek trail system from the property. Enjoy direct access to over 10-miles of paved biking and walking path from the home.
Events: Enjoy local community events such as the Farmer's Market and the free Summer Concert Series, generally running from mid-June through early September. Additionally Summer highlights include the Tuesday night Rodeo at Lone Mountain Ranch, the PBR Rodeo, and the Wildlands music festival.
Yellowstone National Park Access
Wildwood Lodge provides quick access to Highway 191 South, leading to the West entrance of Yellowstone. Enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive along the historic Gallatin River to access Old Faithful, Gibbon Falls, and major wildlife viewing areas.
Winter Wonderland
Nestled just 12 miles (15 minutes) from the legendary Big Sky Resort, guests have access to some of the largest skiing terrain in North America.
Snowmobiling: The home is snowmobile in/out, with easy access to trails running along Highway 191 directly from the driveway.
Nordic Skiing: Lone Mountain Ranch is an 8-mile drive, offering an endless network of groomed Nordic trails and snowshoeing.
Skiing/Snowboarding: Big Sky Resort is a 15-minute drive from the house. Find free parking at the Resort.

Security: For your safety, the home is equipped with three (3) exterior security cameras located at the driveway, front door, and back door. All cameras point away from the home.
Wildlife Habitat: The lodge sits on 4 acres of heavily wooded property, which is a prime habitat for local wildlife. Please follow all posted house rules regarding wildlife safety.
Non-Smoking: This is a strictly non-smoking premise. No smoking of any kind is permitted inside or outside the home.
Winter Travel: During Winter months you will need a 4WD or AWD vehicle to navigate the area.

The location was perfect!! On a quiet road and amazingly scenic, yet less than 20 minutes from the ski resort! The kitchen was well-outfitted, the living room was spacious (with plenty of logs for a fire), and the beds were quite comfortable

The hot tub was warm and easy to remove cover. The property was private with elk across the road. Comfortable beds. Incredible kitchen. Fast internet. Garage parking was a real benfit. Views to creek and and lighted evergreen tree. Beautiful views from every room.

The property itself was nice overall. The creek behind the home was a big plus to the property! What ruined the experience for me and my family was the day before we vacated the home! I was notified the morning of that there would be workers on the property that day with no set time assigned! The work that they did (mowing, etc) was very loud and we were unable to rest because of it! This went on for a few hours! I feel it was very unprofessional and showed a lack of courtesy towards my family and myself that the management company would have that type of work performed while guests were at the home! That type of work should have been performed when the home was vacant or after the 10:00 a.m. check out time! I paid for a quiet and relaxing experience at this home in Big Sky and was very disappointed on that day!
