The property itself was nice and large in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for what our family needed. Communication with host was quick when we needed anything.
There were some negatives though. The house felt like it was in the middle of a renovation though, or went through a quick flip to have an eye catching rental.
Starting in the kitchen, the dishwasher was broken which led to us hand washing all of our own dishes. Most of the coffee mugs were chipped or broken. There were other dishes and utensils though that were helpful for a quick stay.
The fridge had a broken light and also had to be set to the coldest setting to keep things on the bottom half of the fridge cool.
Above the top right kitchen cabinet there appears to be significant water damage that is not visible in the listing.
The entire house had temporary paper curtains, which led to them stayed closed most of the time because of the hassle trying to lift and keep them up during the day. These are visible in the listing in hindsight, which makes me feel like these have been put in as the permanent solution.
It has beds for up to 12 guests, but there weren’t enough full size towels for the 6 of us that stayed.
The master bathroom at first glance looked very luxurious with a a waterfall shower in a shared space with the toilet. However the drainage was extremely poor and wound up filling up the entire floor seeping over to the toilet, making it unusable unless you wear shoes or wait for it to dry. The shower he

In town for MSU vs USC football, house was in a nice quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes or so from campus. Perfect for what we needed.
