The original hardwood floors, bead board ceilings and classic German style and details are found throughout this gem. You will find a bedroom downstairs and bath with a jacuzzi tub for one and shower. Make your way up the German stairs to the landing where you will find two more bedrooms and a charming bath with original claw footed tub with added shower for your convenience. Charming, well kept home! We so enjoyed our stay celebrating our birthdays on a girl’s trip. The owners thought of everything, water bottles, sodas, coffee, and freshly baked banana walnut bread! It’s conveniently located just a couple of blocks from Main Street. We will definitely be back!

This was a charming little cottage in a great location. The house was very clean. The Jacuzzi was warm and the wine was flowing. We will definitely be back. The owners have thought of everything coffee cream, banana nut bread, wine soda. We felt special. The beds were very comfy.

We had a really enjoyable stay overall and appreciated several thoughtful touches that made the experience feel welcoming. The complimentary bottle of wine, the loaf of moist banana bread, and the stocked fridge with drinks were such a nice surprise. The coffee area was well set up, and there were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels for the hot tub, which made everything very comfortable.However, there were a couple of safety and maintenance issues that should be addressed. Several of the door knobs were loose and not functioning properly. At one point, this resulted in someone being locked inside a room for a period of time, which caused understandable anxiety. Because of this, it also made the rest of us hesitant to fully use and close doors, which impacted privacy during the stay.Additionally, the driveway is made up of brick, and many of the bricks are uneven. Unfortunately, one of our friends lost her balance and fell forward, resulting in scrapes to her knee, elbow, and fingers. This could be a safety concern for future guests.Overall, we had a good experience and appreciated the hospitality, but addressing the door hardware and driveway surface would make this property much safer and even more enjoyable for future visitors.
