About this house rental
Mid-lake spacious cottage with amazing views, deep water, protected swimming area, near boat ramp/marinas/restaurants.
Feel the stress melt away when you arrive. This inviting, remodeled cottage is nestled in the trees and located on a large, year-round, deep-water slough with gorgeous views on beautiful Lake Martin. Sitting mid-lake with easy access to marinas, restaurants, the cliffs of chimney rock, goat island and the rest of the main lake, it’s perfect for your family or group.
Start the morning watching the sunrise overlooking the lake with your first cup of coffee from the upper decks. The open concept kitchen and living room open directly onto the large screened porch and deck. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and bar seating for six. The dining table also seats five inside and there is additional dining space on the screened porch which features a large table and several sitting areas. French doors and plenty of windows offer unmatched views of the lake from the house, the attached large, screened porch or the open deck.
Also on the main level, the new master suite has a large private bath with soaking tub, separate shower and magnificent lake views. The master also has private access to the open-air deck.
On the lower level, three additional bedrooms, each with its own full bath, all open onto a beautiful all-season sunroom with direct access to the lakefront.
The cottage sports 300+ feet of shoreline, a large waterside patio/sunning/sitting/lounging area, mooring whips attached to the boathouse for your boat, a sandy beach with fire pit and protected swimming areas. The large shoreline offers great areas for kids to swim. The dock provides a great area for fishing or sunbathing throughout the day. We also have 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for your use!

There are multiple restaurants within minutes of the house.
We are approximately 40 minutes to Auburn University, perfect for home games.
Golfers enjoy playing at the nearby Stillwaters Golf Course on the lake or at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail’s Grand National Golf Club in Auburn.
For hiking enthusiasts, Lake Martin’s Cherokee Ridge Alpine trail offers incredible hiking trails. Google ‘Cherokee Ridge Alpine Trail Association’ or ‘Lake Martin Resource Association (LMRA)’ to learn more about this incredible natural resource.
We require a signed Rental Agreement to be returned to us at least 60 days prior to your reservations or immediately if your visit is less than 60 days out. We have a strict no pet policy. No exceptions. Maximum 8 adults, maximum 11 people, including children and infants.

We had a wonderful week with family, at this very comfortable home. The house was great! Good space for everyone, clean, well equipped kitchen.

By far this wonderful lake house was the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of VRBO houses. When we arrived, the house was immaculate clean and smelled wonderful. And the view from the lake was incredible wide panoramic view just as listed. We had six adults and one child and had plenty of room and could’ve had more people. The kitchen was very well stocked and I loved the open concept with kitchen and living area. We spent so much time on the wonderful screened in porch every morning drinking coffee and tea and watching the sun come up across the glittering lake. The location was perfect for kayaking and just fishing off the dock. We are already planning our return visit next year. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Lakehouse.
