About this house rental

This cute all recently updated ranch style home is right on the channel. Leads out to all sports Dallas Lake. Come for a long weekend or book a full week to enjoy some quiet time away from the city.

Local restaurants and a winery are all close by. Enjoy the quiet lake life with afternoon shade on the deck while drinking a Margherita and watching the kids swim! Enjoy some early morning fishing, or just watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee!

Enjoy the 2 canoes, 2 kayaks and a paddle boat on site! Bring your own boat and dock it right at the on site pier!

Fire up the grill and have yourself a great time away!

Please note this is our home and if you must smoke please do it outside and throw your butts away and not in the grass. Thanks for understanding.

Wish it wasn’t mandatory for the security deposit. It was a great stay but expensive for us when we were so low risk and left it as nice as we found it. Facilities were perfect.

Inside cottage well appointed, queen bed comfy, kitchen serviceable, bathrooms well furnished.Bathtub only serves as shower-in case of small children. Nice t.v. Outside - wonderful deck with great furniture! Lots of weeds & Lily pads occluding swimming area. Piers nice & paddle boat usable. Life jackets available. Grill needed cleaning, gas wouldn't start. Grass needed mowing. Disappointed in swimming area but overall quiet, peaceful, pleasant stay.

We booked this place for a special wedding in Sturgis. It was everything and more! The grandkids stayed the last 2 nights with us and they lived thecanoe and kayaks! Our host, Mike, went above and beyond finding a necklace left behind that meant a lot to the 8yr old that left it. Pet friendly as well. Looking forward to having a reason to stay again.

The property was recently updated and tidy. Mike , our host, was very responsive of we had questions. Being able to dock our boat right outside was very convenient since this is our annual fishing trip. We love that the property is pet friendly and the dogs settled in nicely. The fence is low, so if you have a jumper, don't leave them untethered or alone (the black lab across the street like to come on in to pay the yard a visit 😉). The home has everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. The bedrooms are cozy and the queen bed was comfortable. Driving our boat (24' pontoon) under the bridge was a little nerve racking the first time. Everyone out of your seats and hit the floor! No problem, 2" to spare 😃! We were able to fish all of the lakes in the chain, caught bluegill, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, perch and walleye. Never were able to find a single crappie. The swans and their families were beautiful to watch. If you're looking for the Amish experience, this town and the surrounding area is it! The Amish or Menonite's in their buggies were plentiful and at times a little unnerving while driving at night. All in all we had a great trip and will most likely book again.

We had some friends meet us we are all over 60! We were having are RV worked on so we needed a place this was close by and we could enjoy Amish country. Wish there were two Queens bed instead of just one. This great place for families with kids.

This is an absolutely adorable lakehouse. It was situated super close to the highway which was convenient for us for a quick stop over as we were traveling. It is so hard to find a place to stay with pets and they made this house so pet friendly and easy. It is perfect for families and you can tell they put so much thought and care in making it cute. I will definitely be staying again next time I have to schlep myself and the dogs across the country.
