About this house rental
Welcome to the Thompson Family Lake House, your luxury home away from home. Just a quick golf cart ride to Patti's and all the downtown Grand Rivers fun, this home will be your favorite relaxation spot for years to come. This spacious, fully-furnished, and tastefully decorated home has all the beds you need for your entire family to have a great night's sleep! With over 3600 square feet of living space, 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, 11 beds, newly remodeled with a fully stocked kitchen, tons of outdoor living space, and a game room, your family will be making precious memories to last a lifetime!
The master bedroom has a king size bed and private bathroom with shower and soaker tub (sleeps 2). Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a treehouse style bunk bed (sleeps 4, 2 adults & 2 children). Bedroom 3 has two sets of bunks beds with one trundle (sleeps 5 children). Bedroom 4 (basement) has a king bed. Additional hallway bathrooms (full baths) are located in both the hallway upstairs and downstairs. Bedroom 5 is located in a private detached in-law suite with a second living room, second kitchen, and a large master with a queen bed. This property sleeps 15 plus one portable crib for a baby/toddler. Bunk beds are rated for 100 pounds or less.
A game room awaits you! Enjoy the pool table as well as lots of board and card games. Amenities include wifi, multiple LARGE flat screen smart TVs, a washer and dryer, a large selection of DVDs, a corn hole set, a fire pit area, a gas grill, portable crib, lots of board games, and portable high-chair. Enjoy dinner on the large deck outside the dining area. The well-stocked kitchen includes basic cooking spices, a slow-drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig, and all the cookware that will have your family staying in for the evening. A second kitchen is available in the detached in-law suite. Three refrigerators on the property make it easy to keep all your food and drinks chilled and ready. Charge your phone easily with bedside table lamps that include charging ports or plugs.
The Thompson Family Lake House is located a little over a mile from Patti's, and about a mile from Green Turtle Bay, Badgett Playhouse, The Village Market, Little Lake Park and Playground, The Jetty, Craig's Dairy Dream, golf cart rentals, fishing, shopping and lots of downtown Grand Rivers fun! It is a 2-3 minute drive to the marinas.
Grand Rivers is close to the northern entrance of Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, which includes a Bison Prairie, planetarium, homeplace 1850s working farm, and living history museum. Venture River Water Park is located a short distance away in Eddyville. Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center has zip lines, go carts, bumper boats, laser tag, a rock wall, and more family fun. The Thompson Family Lake House is a convenient distance to it all! Come and make some memories!

So much room for everyone! Lots of extras in the kitchen for use if needed. Very clean! Wish we could of made a fire in the great pit area.

A group of friends 60 yrs old and up stayed for a few days. Great house. We enjoyed corn hole , pool, and beautiful bonfires. There was a little trouble with the heating and air since it was the first time of use, but all was fixed and owners were always great in communication. We enjoyed our stay.

The light over the dining table flickered at times. The water was warm a little uncomfortable bathing. Some of the beds needs new mattress, as they swayed to the center. Outside deck table was not clean. Didn’t find instructions on TV/cable operation.
