The Secret Garden is a perfect home base for your Tulum adventure. It is conveniently located where Centro meets La Veleta, but maintains a natural jungle environment to relax in. A rare find in Tulum. This oasis provides a typical mexican style for your ideal getaway with outdoor kitchens, Talavera accents, and palapa covered verandas, while also offering modern amenities and comforts.

The Secret Garden property includes a courtyard for gathering, a central pool, and 3 buildings. Each apartment has private bathroom, workspace, dining, and seating. 4 apartmens surround the pool, 3 with kitchen terrace and 1 with indoor kitchen. Our 2 bedroom apartment has private gardens. All apartments sleep at least 2, and some can accomodate up to 5.

Apartment was fantastic, super spacious, really nice area and the hose was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend for price point. It’s not on the beach strip but in the actual town of Tulum. Great food and drink options around there.

The property is located in a funky, creative, newer part of Tulum. There were cafes, shops, and groceries close by. We rode rented bikes into the center of town each morning to attend Spanish school. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. My kids enjoyed cooling off in the pool. Owners were very attentive and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our host Kristi was a gracious and communicative host. Our accommodations were as advertised and were plenty of room for both of us. We had a room in the far back of the property and felt like we had space to ourselves.
Some highlights of the stay included the provided drinking water in tanks outside of our apartment, and the way in which our space had been set up, combining 2 spaces into 1. Plus they have cats!
We had a problem with the plumbing while there, but it was taken care of promptly after we reported it.
One suggestion for the rooms - thicker curtains may be necessary for added privacy.

Both the owner and property manager were extremely accommodating and great to work with. They welcomed my wife and I on short notice, and with open arms. They made many accommodations for us, and we can’t thank them enough for helping our vacation end on a high note.
The place is a perfect oasis. Easy to find. Green. Quiet. Away from the hustle, but close to the attractions. We felt safe. Lots of incredible dive gourmet eats blocks away. World class coffee and pizza close by.
My wife was homesick because of her cat at home, so we loved the attention from the resident cat. Don’t worry he’s not too pushy if you’re not feline friendly. :)
