Our stay was amazing. Spent a lot of time at the beach. Kids loved the basket ball hoop.

We loved our semi-beach house! Upon entering everything was clean and fresh linens and towels were provided. The kitchen had all we needed for food prep & cooking. (knives could use a sharpening but were usable) All furnishings inside were comfortable. The wi-fi is a little slower than usual and Mr. Ed responded very quickly to the one question we had. Daytimes were spent at the beach or sightseeing. We spent most of the evening time downstairs. We loved having this space and had plenty of room for yard games that we brought. The online pictures of this area could use an update. There was not a bar counter downstairs, and the sofa bench was very uncomfortable. Could not get the cushion to fit right. But The chairs and hammocks worked just fine and the hot tub made up for that. The hot tub was clean (that is an extra plus for shared space) It was great having the w/d area, and beach chairs and a tent were supplied. The house met all of our expectations.

Enjoyed the stay

Everything from our first contact with the owner was easy and his responses were very fast and he provided any information we asked for! The house is very well located to the Kill Devil Hills attractions, restaurants, and stores. The house is very nicely furnished and equipped. I don’t think there is anything they don’t have at your disposal to use. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the hot tub is awesome! The swing chairs are very comfortable and fun to sit in. The house was very clean and ready upon our arrival. We had requested an early check in because we arrived in the area early in the morning, Ed told us it was no problem since there was no renters in prior to us. We greatly appreciably all of Ed’s responses and what he did for us! We had a great Mommy and Daddy weekend away. It was nice being down there alone and being able to enjoy each other’s company. Thank you again!! We will be returning.
