Very nice home right on the lake! My son had success fishing from the little dock. And my girls were able to paddle board. Very peaceful. Just what we were looking for.

Our family enjoyed four wonderful days at your home on the lake. The house was so nice and had everything we needed and more. Right down to the same bunk beds that we have in our vacation home :). We spent every night out by the fire pit, fishing, kayaking and just relaxing. We spent every morning sitting on the porch enjoying our coffee by the lake. We played games in the evenings and hiked, fished, golfed and shopped during the day. We also went to a winery and a brewery! The arcade game was a nice touch! It took us back :). We made the most of our four days there! Our yellow lab, Duke, also had a great time visiting your wonderful home and enjoyed his time outside with us and by the fire at night. This was the 15th year our family has spent a summer week on either Canandaigua or Honeoye Lake. This property has a number of great features, including a very nicely appointed and comfortable house, large and flat back yard, lots of parking and very friendly neighbors (one of whom gave a pinwheel to my 7-month old grandson). However, one major drawback is the poor water quality and swimming conditions. The property is close to a north-facing cove that seems to trap seaweed and algae, and the lake bottom is very mucky. Unfortunately, none of our female family members would go in the water, unlike other places we stayed where the water quality was excellent.
