Welcome to Dream Mountain Delight in the Carolina Mountains!
This beautiful three bedroom, three bath cabin is the perfect place for a family get together or a weekend retreat with friends. Sleeping up to ten, there is plenty of space for everyone.
Surrounded by a wood interior, you’ll feel cozy from the moment you step into Dream Mountain Delight. Turn on the gas fireplace and curl up in the comfy furniture while you watch a movie on the flat screen Smart TV.
Just off the open living room is the dining and kitchen areas. The fully stocked kitchen will delight you with modern stainless appliances, granite countertops and even a Keurig for your morning cup of coffee.
The dining area offers a large farm style table with seating for six and the kitchen island offers additional seating for two more. Open the blinds and gaze out at the amazing long-range view with no houses in sight!
The main level also features a queen bedroom complete with smart TV and ensuite access to the shared bath complete with shower/tub combo.
Climb the stairs from the main level and you will find an open loft that is complete with a pull-out sleeper sofa for additional sleeping and more windows for enjoying views of nature. The master suite complete with private bath is also on this level. Relax in the luxurious king size bed while watching your favorite show on the Smart TV.
Downstairs in the finished basement you will find another living area complete with leather furniture including sleeper sofa, a second gas log fireplace, Smart TV and foosball for your entertainment. There is also another bedroom with a queen bed and shared hall bath.
The outdoor deck offers plenty of seating for relaxing or drinking that morning cup of coffee.
Located within an easy drive of Grayson Highlands State Park, Mount Rogers, and the New River where you can spend the day fishing or canoeing. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.
Dream Mountain Lodge is next door and Above It All, is just up the road, offering lodging for family reunions, church gatherings and corporate retreats.
Note: Pets allowed with a $75 per stay per pet. Airbnb/VRBO will only automatically charge one pet. The host will add an additional $75 for each pet if you are bringing more than one pet.

Stay was nice, not to difficult to get to even though we were in the mountains. Home was clean, beautiful views. Ice maker did not make much ice, could not get tv in main level bedroom to work, but no big deal. Air conditioning stopped working on Sunday and we got pretty warm. I did call and received help and it did start working a few hours later. The book needs to be updated, in one place bit says you can leave 2 kitchen size bags and in another it says 3. Due to traveling I think the trash amount should not be limited but should be taken care of by the company that sends housekeepers in, who wants to go home , riding for severalHours with a bag of trash in their car or who wants to take time out of their vacation schedule to take trash to a dump.

We loved our stay at this cabin! This was the second cabin we have stayed in with Carolina Mountain Properties, and it was very well appointed and well-maintained. Extremely clean and comfortable. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the views from the living and dining rooms were beautiful. My son stayed in the basement and enjoyed having his own living space and game room. We hiked on a trail across the street and saw some beautiful views of a Christmas tree farm. My kids liked walking around exploring the woods and we brought a telescope for stargazing at night.

The location was great! The cabin was secluded and distant from other houses. It was roughly a 20 minute drive to town. All of the couches and beds were comfortable. The cabin would have rated higher; however, the basement smelled of mildew and mold. There was a noticeable and distinct smell when you started down the stairs. There was a dehumidifier but it would only work for a short amount of time before cutting off. Everything else was exactly as we were expecting!
