About this house rental

Single story carriage house with full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, bedroom and a large living room. A beautiful koi pond on the East with a nice deck with rocking chairs. This small home offers privacy from traffic as it sits 200’ off the end of a cul-de-sac in a small southern Ohio village. We cater to hunters, hikers or families who want to escape the city life and enjoy a nice country sitting. Plenty of wildlife off either side of the property for your viewing pleasure. Flat screen Tv with WIFI on-site as well.

Two of us were traveling back to Northwest Ohio from the Athens/Marietta area and needed a place to rest for the night. This place was perfect for that. I definitely enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch to the sounds of about 25 different birds.

From the pictures in the ad we thought it a bit more secluded, but it was still a beautiful and quiet location. We enjoyed watching deer cross the field, and in spite of the rain soaking the patio swing (Negating the enjoyment of the pond)the front porch was comfortable and quiet

I was able to use this location as a personal "hideout" of sorts while staying in the area for a week. The hosts were very personable and communicated frequently, even through some rough personal circumstances on their part. I felt welcome to reach out with any needs and the space was adequate for all my needs. I enjoyed my stay and could easily see myself using this location in the future!

This is the cutest , most comfortable place I’ve stayed in while traveling. The neighborhood was very well kept and I felt safe staying there. The bed and pillows were all comfortable, and everything was clean. Wi-Fi worked well and there were many streaming apps installed on TV. So many extra things you’d never expect , to make your stay more comfortable . I had a family emergency during my stay, and Brandon and Brittany were beyond accommodating and helpful during a stressful situation. You won’t be disappointed with this one!

I booked this while traveling work servicing the Rock Hill School District. The place looked exactly like the listing. The hosts where very extremely accommodating and went above and beyond. I slept like a baby so quiet and peaceful. The weather was beautiful so really got to enjoy the outdoor porch and the swing with relaxing sound of the Koi pond fountain. I will be back if work brings me back to the area.

This was our first stop on our three generation road trip (Grammy, Mommy, 4yr old). This house is so cute and even though the square footage is small, the layout makes excellent use of the space. We felt very cozy and safe ❤️

The place is nice. Perfect for a single person or small family of 3. There are only gas heaters so it was a bit chilly for me but once I turned them up it was comfortable. It had everything you would need for a couple day stay. The owners were friendly, they greeted me upon arrival and responded quickly to questions I had. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay for a 2 night getaway. Very clean and comfortable. Just be sure you have your steaming passwords for the Roku. We couldn’t access without it, so had limited free Roku options. WiFi was slow, too.

Clean and owners very accessible. Fixed an issue immediately. Extremely small kitchen, making it difficult to prepare a meal. Would suggest supplying toaster, can opener, small casserole dish and cutting board. Nice for short get away.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable tiny cottage nestled in luxuriously quiet hills. Well-appointed home was exactly as described. Quiet, but still close enough to easily make a run for groceries or visit nearby attractions. Great for visitors or a local who needs a spot to retreat to. WiFi worked well. The Guesthouse was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay in while we toured The Welsh Byway. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable.
