The Bears Lair is an awesome relaxing cabin nested in the mountains. There is not an scenic views, but if your looking for peace and coziness. This is the spot! The Bed was so comfy. My family and I enjoyed playing many games at the large dinning table. The fenced in yard was great for my dogs. It was so hot the whole stay, but we did enjoy a fire on our last evening. All the sounds of nature, and the smells of the mountains was pure tranquility. An absolute stay for peaceful getaway!

We had a nice stay, the cabin was pet friendly. The kids enjoyed the arcade game and pool table. We made s’mores with the fire pit. The beds were accommodating for our family of 6.

First I would like to say the host was very nice and quick to respond. But...this cabin has an old listing. There was black tape covering what I could only assume was a hole in the wall near the ceiling in the living room. The lighting fixture in the kitchen was missing the main light, leaving it very dark evem with all the lights on. In the yard there was drywall leaning against the fence. I moved the large dog crate sitting in the living room to set up our dog pen only to expose filth and dog hair under it. The interior of the floors were fairly clean, but around the borders was dirt and dog hair. There were also screens knocked out of windows and a large amount of bird poop in the corners of the front deck (I get birds do that, but could have been cleaned a bit knowing renters are coming). We paid 1600 for our stay and feel we did not get our money's worth. Very disappointing!
