Fabulous cabin rental in Gordonville, TX. The Longhorn Lodge sits privately on 4+ acres of wooded land. Interior is 1800 sq feet, 3 floors with 2 loft areas. Arcade machine with 60 classic games and foosball table. Excellent high speed WiFi. New HD TV's with DVD player. Wonderful fire pit overlooking a valley and fishpond.

Very nice cabin, clean and has everything you need. Good communication with the owner. It rained while we were there so we did not get to use the outdoor areas but the yard is spacious and has plenty of seating. Bedrooms in the loft are open so they lack privacy but the beds are comfortable. Would stay there again….

This home was perfect for a family who just needed a little down time. Lots of games indoors. Movies were available. Great backyard with a fire pit, swing, turtle pond, and hot tub. Close drive to plenty of restaurants and activities in surrounding towns. However, there plenty to do and explore at the home if you don’t want to leave. Kitchen is equipped to make anything you want. Owner was good to check in and just make sure everything was as expected. Would definitely stay again.

This lodge served as the ultimate retreat, featuring a hot tub for relaxation following a day of fishing and a cozy fire pit for roasting s'mores beneath the stars. The lodge was aesthetically pleasing and conveniently located near our fishing excursion. Overall, this experience was exceptional and warrants a return visit.

We needed a weekend getaway, without a lot of driving. Found the " Longhorn" & booked it ! Big lodge, video console, foosball, & hot tub! Great amenities that kept us busy! Went into Sherman to catch a movie, only 6 miles to the Pelican restaurant at the marina. Enjoyed our stay here !

We had an amazing stay at this property! We selected the location due to the proximity of the Cedar Mills marina for a Striper fishing trip. We fished all morning and enjoyed the home all Saturday afternoon & night. We had a fire in the pit and just sat around, talked and listened to all the sounds of nature! We enjoyed a little bit of time in the hot tub too!! Oh and don’t forget the complementary s’mores items!! So relaxing and inviting. We will be back!! Mac was a great host. He gave us the scoop of the area before we arrived and checked on us Saturday. Very attentive should we have needed anything!

The house worked perfectly for what we were looking for. Communication with the owner was way more than I have ever had with other renters, and very accommodating. Less than 5 minute drive from boat slips / lake access and a short jaunt over the lake to a small casino if that’s your thing. Great weekend overall.

We arrived to our destination to find it farely isolated, exactly what we like. The property is beautiful. The walks in the mornings were perfect. The games and family fun that were available by Marc really made for some great memories. The hot tub was perfect to end the evening. The house is homey warm and inviting. Thank you for the communication and hints to maintaining the temp of the house. Marc is a great host.

Nice, large home on a huge lot. Tons of things to do both indoors and outdoors. Enjoyed the private hot tub and excellent hikes close by. Marc was excellent to communicate with and even checked in to see how our stay was going and if we needed anything. Would highly recommend, especially to those with kids.

This house was in a great location, close to a boat ramp and town. Marc was the perfect manager check in and was there is we needed him. House had plenty of space and nice outdoor area!

This place has it all and most importantly, it's CLEAN and feels like home when you stay there. Marc pays attention to every detail inlcuding entertainment for all ages. The video game was just an added bonus. If you're looking for a place to say, I'd highly recommend this home.

What a cool property! We were just in the area for a quick weekend vineyard event and needed somewhere comfortable to stay. This property was WAY bigger than we needed, but the price was very affordable. Our only regret was not having additional folks stay with us. There is a king bed in the master, 2 different full sized beds in the upper levels along with another twin. This would be a perfect property for a family with lots of kids. Great for a family reunion or large family getaway. Tons of board games, outside games, fire pit, hot tub, and lots of room to navigate inside. Property was clean and stocked with spices and condiment essentials (I hate when I have to buy salt, pepper and ketchup when staying in a rental. Just have that stuff there, already!!). This place fit that bill perfectly. No additional expenditures were necessary at this property, so thank you!! Will definitely keep this property in mind the next time we are in the area.

The cabin is really neat and unique in my opinion, there was plenty of things to do both indoors and outdoors. We planned on going to the casino at some point during the weekend but found ourselves content with playing foosball, giant Jenga and corn hole instead. I had in mind that the place was going to be a little more secluded than what it is, still wouldn’t keep me from going back to stay again. Overall, great place to stay!

What an unexpected surprise in Gordonville. We had the best weekend getaway playing games, making fireside s’mores and relaxing in the hot tub. We greatly appreciated the pet friendly cabin situated on a beautiful lot - great for walks and peace & quiet. Looking forward to another trip to the Longhorn Lodge in the near future!!

We stayed at the Longhorn Lodge this past weekend and had a blast! It was just a short drive from DFW. We built a campfire both nights (and introduced our friends to smores), relaxed in the hot tub, played classic arcade games, and skipped rocks in the pond. What a great getaway! We will definitely be coming back soon!

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed with the entire layout of the cabin and the multi- level structure. Loved all the cedar in the cabin as well as the cedar wood for the fire pit. We have been to many cabins and this one lived up to all our expectations! It was very clean and had lots of amenities. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, listening to "Oldies but Goodies" and enjoying conversations with our adult kids and grandsons. WONDERFUL MEMORIES! Thank you Marc! We will be Back!!

This property is perfect for a family gateway, large master bedroom downstairs kind a private and beds on second and third (loft space) floors. Clean sheets, towels. Kitchen is fairly well stocked and Keurig setup for coffee fans. The foose ball table in the family room was the main attraction as we got cold front during our stay. plenty of classic and family friendly DVDS to pass time. Nearby Pelican Landing Waterfront Restaurant has food for most palate. Overall a great time.

We had a Saturday Night planned at Choctaw with Gary Allen, we decided to make a weekend of it with the Family @ the Longhorn and I tell you - The Longhorn Lodge stoled the weekend !!! Yes. even over a night with Gary Allen. This lodge comes with everything, great entertainment inside and out. The moment you walk in and see the Samsung TVs In every room with matching A/c systems - you immediately know they didn't spare any expense, everything is top notch..... don't wait to rent !!! They did such a great job with this little getaway and thought of Everything. We absolutely enjoyed the outdoors, sitting around the fire and playing all the games they have setup ( giant connect 4, ring toss and corn hole ) The hot tub was a hit and you feel you're a million miles away from everyone when you're outback exploring and enjoying the peace & quiet. You are literally 2 mins from the lake / park has several areas where you can park right up to the water and cook out while enjoying the water with a lot of areas for the kiddos to play.

We met another couple for a relaxing and enjoyable bringing in the New Year weekend! Everything from the relaxing, hit-the-spot hot tub and S'mores at the cozy fire pit to the Steak/Chicken fajitas on the barbie & cooking the Seafood Boil in the huge kitchen along with plenty of room for the board & electronic games...this place is sure to please everyone in the family!! Marc the host was easy to get ahold of and was very accommodating!! This great place will be on our short list for a return visit!
