About this house rental
Nestled in the heart of Raymond, Maine, this charming 3 bedroom , four year old year round home provides you with a breathtaking water view. There is also a private dock, patio, and swimming area. Master bedroom has a full size bed. One smaller bedroom with twin beds. Another
bedroom has bunk beds and a full size sofa sleeper in the living room. Panther is 3 miles long and one mile wide The water is extremely clean. Panther is connected to Cresent Lake which is boatablewith a canoe or kayak. Home has A/C, free cable and WiFi. Washer and dryer on site.
Only 17 miles from Portland, 45 minutes to Freeport and the Outlets. Ten miles to the Oxford casino. Out the front door, cross a seldom used dirt road and continue about 25 feet to the water's edge where is a patio, dock, and private swimming area. We supply blankets and pillows. You supply your own sheets, towels. Good bass fishing. In the spring the lake is stocked wiht salmon. You must have a license to fish.
Rental week runs Saturday to Saturday.
No pets of any kind or smoking inside or on the property.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Len and Diane’s beautiful lake house in Raymond, Maine. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The lakefront setting is stunning. Waking up to peaceful water views made our trip truly special. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee by the lake, swimming, kayaking, or simply relaxing on the property, every moment was memorable.Len and Diane were exceptional hosts. They were welcoming, thoughtful, and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed while still giving us complete privacy. It’s clear they take great pride in their home and genuinely care about their guests’ experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful place to stay in the Lakes Region of Maine, we can’t recommend this property highly enough. We hope to return annually for many years. Thank you, Len and Diane, for sharing your amazing lake house with us!

Our family of four had a fantastic week at the house. The kids could swim and fish every day. The lawn was nice and large. The house is very clean and new, and was perfect. We loved the enclosed porch as well. I highly recommend.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our week at the lake. In mid July, the water was warm (and super clean!), the kids loved the amenities provided at the lake (kayaks, swim dock, inflatable tubes, easy access into a sandy bottom) and the weather was great. Quick driving access to different activities from Maine Wildlife Park, Hiking Rattlesnake Mountain (via Bri-Mar Trail), Mini-golf, Blueberry Picking, and of course Ice Cream. A little bit further (around an hour) to Storyland, Dig Maine Gems, and shopping in Freeport. The hosts live next door and were available, pleasant, and provided tips on the local community (Maine Wildlife Park). Onsite Washer/Dyer and A/C were a huge plus not found in all rentals.
