The place is great, lots of room to sit in the main area, beds were comfortable, and a full kitchen with enough utensils/cookware to be able to make meals. We didn't take advantage of any of the Big Canoe amenities, but there is no shortage of things to do there. Some loungers or rockers on the porch would have been nice, to enjoy the view from the deck. If you have more than 2 cars, you're going to have to park about 1/4 mile away - and it's a very hilly walk, so you'll have to organize cars to pick up & drop off.

This was a wonderful home for 4 families! The porch and deck area is a great addition to let our kids run around. Loved the house, had plenty of room. I do wish there were more than 2 parking spots, but that appears to be the case for the whole complex. Also, if you’re traveling with kids, make sure you check out the playground in the complex! A great playground that was a 3 minute drive from the house. Highly recommend

The house and neighborhood were both beautiful! Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate but when the fog and rain cleared out the view was very nice. My only complaint would be the parking, there was only parking for two midsize vehicles.

We loved the cottage, but the parking was not conducive to the amount of people the cottage sleeps. Only parking for 2 cars - very claustrophobic. We found many dead cockroaches and some live ones too. The queen bed upstairs needs to be replaced. There was a big hole in the mattress. Other than that, the cottage was very homey and pleasant.
