Large private villa pool

Overall a good stay. House was presented to us well by owner. There was initially no Wi-Fi as advertised but owner promptly sorted this out. Supermarkets etc nearby. Only reason for not recommending would be that owner currently lives in this property as his home, he moves out while you stay and it makes it fill uncomfortable that you’re actually staying in his home. Hopefully in the future it will go back to being just a holiday rental property.

We were looking for somewhere warm for late summer stay and found Bruno’s place. It suited us very well. Really nice pool and a sunny terrace. The swivelling umbrella provided shade on the terrace and there were various shady places in the garden where sun beds were located. The kitchen was very good. Pleased to have an espresso coffee machine - we had brought our own coffee grinder and so we had great coffee. The gas hob had one burner not working but I cleared the blocked gas outlet with a pin very easily. Minor irritation that a few lights in kitchen, on terrace and in garden were not working. Bruno should address that before each let. More annoying was that the shower tap was really tight. Cannot explain why. No way my wife could turn on the shower and so I would turn on shower for her and leave on until I had my shower. I needed to wrap a towel around the tap in order to turn shower on or off without hurting my hand. A silly defect the Bruno should fix. Overall I would stay here again. I would check that the shower tap was fixed and defunct light bulbs replaced. There was a Weber charcoal BBQ. The weather in mid September was great and so we asked Bruno if we could extend our stay by three days and he agreed. He had been prompt in answering our questions during the booking process and prior to our our arrival. There was a weekend end and then a public holiday for the Queens funeral and so I could not access my usual fx bank until the Tuesday. Even tho I had sent Bruno a copy of the fx contract confirming payment received from me and payment was being made to Bruno it was disconcerting to receive text messages and voicemails as we drove back to England referring to police reports for non payment. I am so used to being honest that being regarded as dishonest was an upsetting end to our stay. Would we stay there again? Yes. Would Bruno welcome us again? I really don’t know!

Très chouette villa. Spacieuse. Belle et grande piscine. Hyper bien située, dans un village calme et pittoresque. Proche de la plage (30') et des endroits de visite. Propriétaire très sympa et accueillant.

We had a fabulous stay in this modern, clean and well equipped villa with a great garden and swimming pool. The village has a boulangerie and epicerie and supermarkets are a short drive away. We enjoyed the various excursions to beaches, medieval towns and mountain walks, which were all close by. Thank you Bruno and Star!
