Such a large and spacious house with everything you could need and plenty of character. A wonderful base for exploring the Loire valley. A really quiet and dark area with wonderful garden and pool including lots of activities. The hists were do friendly and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend Royal Fat Bike, electric bike hire to explore the area.

Overall experience was great with amazing company, however many small touches can make the property exceptional. The property is immediately next to the owner which we were not aware of, but this would have been useful to know particularly for the check in process. The house needs a good clean. It is full of dust in many obvious areas. Doors don’t close. Not everything was as advertised, for example the hammocks were missing. We ran out of toilet paper after 3 days. No charcoal for the bbq, which was also left unclean from previous tenants. Fridges and ice maker not at its best. Overall huge potential with a little more effort, and a week we really enjoyed and would certainly come back. Many additional experiences offered which we enjoyed, particularly the babysitting. Many thanks.

We had a lovely time as a family of 9 plus our dog. We stayed for 7 days but wish we’d stayed for longer. The house and annex is very large and each room has there own bathroom which was a dream every morning to avoid arguments of who had priority. The house is based in a woods and is very peaceful and quiet. Close to a supermarket a small local towns with plenty to explore. The pool is excellent and ideal for cooling off during the hot weather, along with an outside shower adjacent to the pool. The kitchen was large and had plenty of utensils, plates, glasses, etc. We had a slight issue with the fridge / freezer not making ice, but Yannick (owner) went and purchased an ice cube maker the very next day which was truly appreciated. All communication was excellent, prior, during and after our stay. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.
