Maison Martigny - Norman Landscape

We were already in love with this region, thanks to our fisherman’s cottage in Trouville-sur-Mer. But we wanted more space for our children—and more greenery.
Living in the Paris area, it’s a real pleasure and a wonderful getaway for the weekend. A little getaway in Normandy—a real breath of fresh air. We fell head over heels for this Normandy house, which was “true to its original character.”
We did a lot of remodeling and decorating to turn this place into a cozy, charming, and pleasant little haven—a place where you can truly feel at home. The fireplace adds plenty of warmth, and the kitchen is a delightful space for both cooking and dining.

For the bedrooms, we focused on comfort with Simmons bedding: 2 160-size beds, 2 140-size beds, and 2 90-size beds.
There is a shower room and a bathroom, each with a toilet. There is also a toilet on the first floor.

In the spring and summer, you can enjoy the outdoor areas, including a pétanque court and a playground for children, and relax on the patio furniture. Barbecue and ping-pong table. All set on over one hectare of land surrounded by horses. A little paradise for families. Far from the noise.

There’s plenty to discover in the surrounding area: the Cerza Zoo—a safari park—just 15 minutes away; Deauville, known for its shops and expansive beaches; Trouville-sur-Mer for its fish market and beach activities for children, 35 minutes away; Honfleur, with its harbor and charming narrow streets, 25 minutes away; and Pont-l’Évêque, 15 minutes away. Plus many other charming villages in the Normandy countryside.
