La Bastide de Roussillon, house in stone with unique charm located just 7 minutes walk from the village of Roussillon classified as «One of the most beautiful villages in France».
You will enjoy walking to restaurants, cafes, shops, art galleries and the ochre trail of the village.
The panoramic view of the Luberon is exceptional and the charm that emanates from the house with its high ceilings, the decoration and its Provencal materials create an atmosphere conducive to your holiday.
After your days of walks you can relax in the large heated and secure swimming pool of 12 x 6 m located below the house.
Ideal for 8 people La Bastide de Roussillon has a large living room, a magnificent entrance hall, a kitchen extended by a veranda, 4 air-conditioned bedrooms (1 on the ground floor and 3 on the floor) and 2 bathrooms with separate toilet.
The garden of 4500 m2 is organized in several terraces facing south.
It is possible to park 4 cars, they will be safe with an automatic gate and a fully enclosed ground.

La Bastide de Roussillon is a beautiful home set in extensive gardens and only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful village of Roussillon.
The house exceeded our expectations and even though the photographs on Vrbo are great, they do not do the house justice.
Marc the owner was so helpful throughout the whole booking process and responded to any questions promptly both before and during our stay.
There is no doubt that this is a home, not just a holiday rental - every convenience has been thought of and is of the highest quality.
The pool area is fabulous and the pétanque terrain made for some fun evenings!
The only thing that outshines this stunning house is the panoramic view from the patio which is breathtaking and has to be seen to be believed.
Roussillon itself is very busy during the day with day-trippers who flock to see the ochre cliffs but then is quiet in the evening and many restaurants in fact do not open in the evenings. Accordingly those that are open get very busy and need to be booked in advance. Roussillon is perfectly located to explore the abundance of pretty villages of the Luberon.

The Bastide was the perfect location for exploring Provence. We were able to walk to Roussillon in the mornings for baked goods, avoid the traffic and headaches of parking there. It is a busy little village, especially on market day. The house itself was amazing. It felt comfortable and homey and was exceptionally clean on arrival. The parking area was secure and access was easy.
The pool area is incredibly; quite possibly one of the largest pools I have ever had at a rental house. It was clean and the perfect temperature. The autocover was easy to operate.
All beds were comfortable and air con worked well in all bedrooms. We were there during a heat wave and the house stayed remarkably cool; it was even cooler than stores that advertised having air con, despite no central AC in the house.
Wifi was fast and stable.
Appliances all worked well. There was so much space for everyone (Granted there were only 2 adults and 2 kids there!).
We wouldn't hesitate to return. It was perfect.

This house is fantastic for a family holiday to Provence! Beautiful setting, fantastic pool and grounds, walking distance to Roussillon and driving distance to lots of lovely other villages, great local bakery and butcher, wonderful arrival welcome from Alexia. Thank you!
