About this house rental

Welcome to Antist, a small village of about 100 residents in the Bigorre Valley. The village is located away from the main roads, in a quiet setting.
There are no shops in the village; most are located in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, a few kilometers away.
A playground is available in the center of the village, near the Alaric River, featuring a pétanque court, a children’s play area, and a ping-pong table.
The vacation rental is a 68m² house with no direct neighbors, featuring a living room, a semi-open kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet.
A wooded, enclosed garden featuring two covered patios and a storage shed, with unobstructed views of the Pic du Midi, the Pic du Montaigu, and the Pyrenean mountain ranges.
1 bedroom with a 160 cm bed, 1 bedroom with 2 sets of 2 pull-out beds (90 cm each), and a 140 cm sofa bed in the living room.
Living area with a sofa, flat-screen TV, coffee table, dining table, and wood-burning stove.
Newly equipped kitchen with sink, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, and high table and chairs for dining.
Terraces furnished with outdoor tables and chairs, and a barbecue.
Parking spaces with a gate.
Our mother, Mrs. Christine VERDOUX, lives nearby (large anthracite-colored gate). Please call her directly to confirm your arrival time.
She will come to give you the keys, provide you with the necessary instructions for using the property, and will be there to inspect the property upon your departure.
She’s also a great source of advice on exploring the region, mountain hiking trails, walks near the house, local recommendations, restaurants, and activities, etc., and depending on the season, you can enjoy the produce from the vegetable garden and orchard…
We’ve put a lot of heart into restoring this family home, even though we’re not professionals. Rental income is used primarily to maintain and improve the house, so we ask everyone to treat the property with respect, and we welcome any suggestions for improvement you may have!

This house was lovely, we loved our stay.
Nice enclosed garden, very comfortable and warm. Superb kitchen with everything we needed.
Great views of the mountains, lovely rural setting. We loved sitting on the sunny patio in a morning with a coffee.
We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We and our dogs had an incredibly nice time in Antist. The house is beautifully situated with a view of the mountains. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful and the people there are generally very friendly and helpful. We hiked a lot and also cycled on our road bikes. The landlord and his family were super friendly. The cottage is simply furnished and equipped but met all our needs. Only downside is the lack of WiFi, but on the other hand that also gave some more peace and less stimuli. The garden is fully fenced and perfect for a dog. What more can I say, it was just a nice place and we felt right at home! Thank you Cyril and Christine and family, also for the delicious greens and herbs.
