Welcome to La Loge Vieux-Port,
A few steps from the Old Port (250 meters) and next to the Opera, the apartment is ideally located for a stay in Marseille, in the heart of the pedestrian district of the Opera in a typical Marseille building of the nineteenth century. Lively during the day but quieter in the evening, the rue Francis Davso and its adjacent streets offer local shops (bakery, mini-market, etc.), a wide choice of restaurants and trendy shops.
Close to the must-sees of the city center (Old Port, Place aux Huiles, Opera, Cours Julien, Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, Canebière, Panier, Mucem, Catalan Beach, etc.) and close to the public transportation network (Vieux-Port metro stop, bus to the beaches, etc.), bike stations and the Estienne-d'Orves parking lot (150 meters away), you can get around very easily during your stay in Marseille.
You will discover a beautiful apartment with high ceilings, both spacious and bright in a warm atmosphere. As well suited to a tourist stay as to a business trip, the 46 m2 apartment is pleasant to live in. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people. It consists of a beautiful living room with its modern equipped kitchen and cozy living room. The large bedroom and its plenty of storage space allow you to settle in as if you were at home. The queen size bed in 160 x 200 is equipped with superior quality bedding. The sofa bed in the living room offers a second bed in 140 x 200. Please note that the bathroom is adjoining the bedroom.
The office and the high-speed internet connection allow you to telework in good conditions. You have access to the television with its Netflix subscription and a connected bluetooth speaker to listen to your favorite playlists.
All equipment (crockery, Nespresso coffee machine, oven, microwave, electric kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board and iron, drying rack, etc.) and basic consumables (condiments, soap, etc.) are at your disposal. Linen (sheets, duvets, pillows, towels and dish towels) is also provided.
The apartment is located on the second floor (without elevator) of a slightly faded staircase. Due to its historic character, the building does not offer the possibility of being air-conditioned. However, high-performance fans (Dyson model) will ensure your comfort. Note that the double-glazed windows also provide good sound and thermal insulation.
For young parents, a travel cot (mattress not provided) and a high chair make it easy to stay with your baby.
Finally, for more flexibility and comfort, your arrival (from 15:00) and your departure (no later than 10:30) are autonomous and contactless.

What more to stay the apartment was spacious, well equipped and very clean.
The location was in a quiet pedestrian street behind the Opera House and only 5 mins walk to the Old Port and nearest metro. Surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants.
The outside entry door and inner hall way let it down but once you climb the 2 flights of stairs it’s so worth it.
The host has written a great guide book in English and communicated with us all the way through our stay, without being intrusive.
The only slight pain was having to collect and return the keys from a nearby hotel but it was only 4 mins walk away.
We would definitely stay again
