About this apartment rental
The apartment consists of 2 rooms and a bathroom:
1) Kitchen and dining area, 20 m²
Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, glass-ceramic cooktop, and electric oven, electric coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher.
2) Living room and sleeping area 23 m²
Sleeping area: one 160 x 200 bed
Living room: a sofa, a TV, a coffee table, and storage furniture.
The living room’s large picture window, equipped with an electric blackout blind, opens onto a large covered outdoor patio.
3) Bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. 3.5 m²
Outside:
- Terrace at the back of the house with patio furniture
- Reserved free parking.
Details:
- Utilities are included: water, electricity.
4G coverage is good. While we wait for fiber-optic internet, the Wi-Fi can be a bit unreliable at times because we’re on a dead-end street near the forest and at the end of the telephone line.
Leisure:
-The center of this pleasant, flower-filled small town is within walking distance. There you’ll find supermarkets and charming traditional shops. The weekly market is held on Wednesday mornings.
-Hiking trails start right from the rental property, allowing you to explore the Doller Valley, which offers magnificent scenery: Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park and the nearby Ballon d’Alsace (a major national site), superb mid-mountain hikes of varying difficulty, and access to mountain reservoirs for fishing and swimming in season.
-There are numerous mountain biking trails starting right from the house.
Day trips by car:
- Alsace is a region well worth exploring:
*Mulhouse is 30 km away: There you can visit the Zoological and Botanical Park, as well as various museums (the Automobile Museum, the Railroad Museum, Electropolis, the Textile Printing Museum, etc.)
*If you’d like to visit the heart of Alsace, you can take the Wine Route, which begins in Thann (about 20 kilometers away) You’ll be charmed by the picturesque villages and wine cellars of the region
*In December, soak up the atmosphere of the famous Christmas markets in the surrounding area (Mulhouse, Colmar, Montbéliard).
-Masevaux is also located near Belfort, where you can explore the old town, Vauban’s fortifications, and the famous Lion, a sculpture by Bartholdi.
