Piton St. Leu is located in the hills above St. Leu, a 20-minute drive from the lagoon. The house is made of wood, well-insulated, quiet, very airy, and bright. Upstairs, there’s a large terrace with a small, open, fully equipped kitchen; the living room also opens onto the terrace. My son occasionally stays in the room next to yours, but he never goes out onto the terrace. There’s a separate entrance around the back of my house, with an outdoor staircase and a private bathroom on the first floor, so everything is completely separate—though you might run into my son from time to time as he heads to his room
surrounded by sugarcane fields, birds, coconut palms, and local homes, the view of the ocean and the sunset are breathtaking from the terrace, while sipping a little local rum. Pure bliss!
