Magnificent 12th-century priory in Provence – 9 rooms

Founded in 1142 in the heart of Provence, the Notre-Dame de Conil Priory welcomes you for a unique Provençal experience! Located 20 minutes north of Aix-en-Provence, on the wine route, and surrounded by a 4-hectare estate, Conil offers a peaceful, rustic atmosphere with a medieval feel.

The house is a former 12th-century Cistercian priory built around an inner courtyard where a Roman well gurgles softly. In June 2022, it was meticulously restored in the Provençal Renaissance style with high-quality finishes and modern comforts (air conditioning, soundproofing, traditional materials, and luxurious amenities).

In August and during the Christmas holidays, you can rent the entire priory (750 m²) for your stays with family or friends. The rental includes:

• 5 suites in the south wing of the priory + 1 children’s room (2 single beds)
• the apartment in the north wing, featuring a large double bedroom, a small double bedroom, and a shared bathroom (unrenovated)
• a garden suite in the west wing (not renovated)
• 2 kitchens and 1 dining room
• the inner courtyard
• the chapel (90 m²), which can be used as a living room or dining room
• the guest garden
• the swimming pool
• the pétanque court

For a total of 9 bedrooms, including 1 for children. The beds feature Sofitel King Size mattresses, and bath towels are provided. On-site Internet access.

During your stay, you’ll have access to the pool (heated and saltwater), the pétanque court, the inner courtyard, and the guest garden. Horseback riding is available for experienced riders, and convertibles are available for rent (Peugeot 205 CJ Cabriolet, Peugeot 205 CTI Cabriolet, BMW Z3). Free on-site parking and a caretaker are available during your stay.
