Wonderfully isolated a few thousand feet up from Lac de Serre-Poncon, this spacious and cozy chalet offers spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains in all directions. We were here for 4 days of hiking and found great trails right out the front door. Bernard was a delightful and helpful host! The chalet is built perfectly and thoughtfully. Every amenity imagineable was provided.
Be sure to navigate to "Haut Forest" just past Les Orres, just up the hill from D40. Both of our navigation systems brought us to the wrong location, though thankfully Bernard was available to guide us in.
I will remember this trip from America and this chalet for the rest of my days.
