About this apartment rental
Newly renovated and tastefully furnished one-room vacation apartment designed for comfort, featuring a kitchenette and dining area on the 1st floor with a beautiful balcony. It is located in a very quiet area of Schöntal, right next to the forest and 150 meters from the Schöntal swimming pond. Schöntal has no through traffic; the speed limit is generally 30 km/h.
An ideal starting point for extended hiking and trekking tours through the pristine German-French Pfälzerwald/Northern Vosges Biosphere Reserve, or excursions to the countless castle ruins and bizarre rock formations in the immediate vicinity, relax at one of Ludwigswinkel’s many swimming ponds, enjoy great mountain bike tours (direct access to signposted trails right from the house), or take a leisurely road bike ride with no significant inclines through the Sauerbach Valley all the way to Wissembourg —Alsace, a visit to the Biosphere House in the neighboring village featuring a treetop trail, a barefoot park, mini-golf, and truly excellent dining.
We provide our guests with one women’s and one men’s touring bike free of charge (bike trailers for dogs are also available free of charge), help and advise you on planning tours, and offer guided (for a fee) hiking, trekking, cycling, and mountain biking tours tailored specifically to your needs. (24-inch e-mountain bike available, 27.5-inch e-mountain bike available starting at 01.04.2020 —both e-bikes for a fee)
Bread roll service (Mon–Sat)
Ludwigswinkel, a climatic health resort, is the perfect vacation destination for guests seeking relaxation, variety, nature, sports, and peace and quiet. Here, if you wish, you can get by without a car for your entire vacation; even in winter, there are great tours to enjoy.
Supermarket, bakery, butcher shop, general practitioner, dentist, and gas station in the neighboring town 3 km away—hair salons and a corner store in Ludwigswinkel. A wide variety of high-quality dining options in Ludwigswinkel and the nearby surrounding communities.

Die Wohnung hatte in puncto Ausstattung trotz ihrer eher etwas geringen Größe alles, was man braucht.
