Villa Seepark on Lake Schluchsee—Close to Nature, Stylish, and in a Dreamlike Location Villa Seepark is situated at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters in the Upper Black Forest, on the tip of a peninsula jutting into Lake Schluchsee. Situated at the end of a very quiet residential street, it is nonetheless close to town. The sandy swimming beach, the lakeside trail, and the famous Jägersteig trail are right at your feet. The unobstructed, south-facing location ensures plenty of sunshine, even in winter. A breathtaking view across the lake to the highest peak in the High Black Forest, the Feldberg, which stands at just under 1,500 meters. Originally built by Änne and Frieder Burda, lovingly renovated by us, and stylishly furnished, the villa awaits guests with an appreciation for the extraordinary. High-quality, natural, and healthy amenities. The interior of your vacation home leaves nothing to be desired. An apartment in a high-quality, modern chalet style that invites you to walk barefoot—it feels good and smells good. This is how we live ourselves, and we wouldn’t offer our guests anything less. High-quality, sporty, light, and modern. This also includes the free e-bikes. The food we eat should be stored in healthy, toxin-free cabinets and prepared in a modern, well-equipped kitchen. In general, we have a soft spot for natural wood when it’s been crafted by master artisans into high-quality furniture. The masterfully crafted solid-wood kitchen is equipped with all standard appliances, dishes, baking pans, and even a wok and fondue set. Raclette goes without saying. Cooking oil, pepper, salt, tea, and coffee are always on hand. You can also look forward to the crowning touch of every Black Forest parlor: the cozy seating area by the tiled stove. Another example of the naturally wholesome furnishings is the Black Forest four-poster bed or the 100-year-old, masterfully restored Art Nouveau wardrobe in the bedroom. The bedroom also features reading lamps and an additional sofa with a view of the lake. Sleep soundly under cozy bedding, enjoying the sleep of the righteous in truly heavenly tranquility. We hardly notice it anymore, but our guests are fascinated by the peace and quiet. We’ll even treat you to the starry sky. Then, early in the morning, watch the fishermen pass by in their boats before you take a dip in the cool water yourself, or retreat to your very own favorite spot in the sprawling park to sunbathe or read. Garden furniture is set up in many cozy spots; of course, you’ll also have your own private lounge chairs and your own gas grill. Everything you need is right here. Your own grill area is the perfect place to simply waste some time and let your mind wander. The living room features a modern, artistic design. By the window overlooking the park and the lake is a bistro-style dining area with comfortable chairs. The leather couch, the open fire, a TV with an Amazon Fire Stick, and a Bluetooth sound system for both indoors and outdoors round out the furnishings. The private sauna, with its hand-hewn reclaimed wood planks, is another highlight—not just during the colder months. Even in the summer, the sauna feels great after a hike or bike ride. The spacious bathroom, measuring over 15 square meters and filled with natural light, features a double sink, a bathtub, a walk-in shower, a Sensowash shower toilet manufactured by Duravit in the Black Forest, and a bidet—everything you need to enhance your wellness vacation in the Black Forest. Towels, shower gel, bath products, and sauna essences are provided and included in the price. The sandy beach is right at your feet. Enjoy the wonderful view of the village and across the entire lake. Rentals for rowboats, pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, as well as a mooring for sailboats, are right next door. You’ll find beautifully situated and reasonably priced cafés and restaurants around every corner nearby. We’ve recently gained a Michelin-starred chef right here in town. His restaurant, “Mühle,” comes highly recommended for special occasions. You’ll receive many extras free of charge. If you’re arriving by train, I’d be happy to pick you up by car at no charge. It’s also just an eight-minute walk. I’d also be happy to do some grocery shopping for you so there’s something in the fridge when you arrive. The famous “Tannenzäpfle” beer and “Hirschquelle” mineral water are always on the table to welcome you. At Villa Seepark, not only is a parking space available free of charge throughout your entire stay, but you’ll also have access to two e-bikes. A kayak will be added in the summer of 2022.
