About this house rental
Sit back and relax—in this peaceful, exclusive accommodation right by the stream with a view of the Osser. You’ll find yourself on the outskirts of Lam at the end of a cul-de-sac, which is why it’s so quiet and restful here—with magnificent views of nature, ideal for a little break from the stress of everyday life.
The house features high-quality, eco-friendly furnishings that create a wonderfully cozy atmosphere thanks to the use of locally sourced wood.
The living area, with its wood-paneled kitchen, large corner bench around the tiled stove, and cozy sofa, invites you to enjoy convivial get-togethers.
The two bedrooms offer a wonderful indoor climate that ensures restful and healthy sleep while providing a fantastic view of the mountains.
The spacious bathroom, featuring a bathtub, shower, and toilet, leaves nothing to be desired and invites you to linger.
To avoid “waiting times” in the bathroom, there is an additional bathroom on the first floor with a shower and a separate toilet.
The perfect day begins with breakfast on the private terrace, offering a magnificent view of the Osser and the surrounding mountains around the Großer Arber.
In the evening, simply light the tiled stove or spend some time on the terrace.
The house features its own small sauna and a wood-fired hot tub on the terrace! This wood-fired outdoor bathtub is a non-bubbling whirlpool for relaxing year-round bathing experiences for up to 2 people.
With your spa passes, you also get free admission to the wonderful Lamer Osserbad!
In 2022, we stylishly and meticulously renovated this 20-year-old house in a modern country house style. Sustainability is a top priority for us: We generate electricity with our solar panel system, and a new heat pump provides heating. The remaining electricity we need is 100% green. We harvest the wood for the tiled stove from our own forest.
This is your ideal starting point for hikes or ski tours. The popular “Arber” ski area is just a 15-minute drive or ski bus ride away. A bike rental shop is right around the corner.
With the “Morgenglück” breakfast service, you can start your vacation in a completely relaxed way at

from the local area! Please let me know if you’re interested.

Roland welcomed us and showed us around the beautiful vacation home. He was very hospitable and kind. This is a beautiful place, and you will love the accommodations. Lots of room for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back in September 2026. Thank you!

A beautifully, spacious and very clean house which is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, espresso machine, washiing machine and a sauna. A nice garden with terrace and a great view on the mountains.
It is a great base for walks from the house, but also many activities in the area. Highly recommended to explore the 'Bayerischer Wald' from this place.

Das liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienhaus liegt ruhig am Ortsrand - aber doch fussläufig zu Läden, Bushaltestelle, Bahnhof,...und bietet von der schönen Terrasse einen unverbauten Ausblick auf den kl. Osser.
Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, komplett eingerichtet und beinhaltet u.a. auch viele Wander- und Radlführer zur Planung der Touren.
Die Kommunikation mit dem netten Vermieter war einfach. Der Vermieter hat uns auch persönlich begrüsst.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Ferienhaus ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.
