About this apartment rental

The fully renovated Studio La Torre apartment is located in a holiday complex near the beach of Torremolinos. The 35 m² apartment features a living area with a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom, accommodating up to 3 people (2 adults and 1 child). Amenities include air conditioning, a kitchen, a washing machine, and a television. The living area offers a double bed and a sofa bed suitable for 2 people.

The communal outdoor area includes a large pool with a children's section, a garden, and a tennis court. The complex also features a golf course and a football pitch. Playa de los Alamos, a sandy beach, is just a 12-minute walk away (1.1 km). A supermarket is located 500 m from the property, and the nearest restaurants are within 300 m, about a 4-minute walk. Numerous cafés, restaurants, bars, and clubs can also be found nearby, especially along the beach. The center of Torremolinos is 2.5 km away, approximately a 30-minute walk from the complex. Malaga Airport is accessible in 10 minutes by train or by car (6 km).

Free parking is available. Pets are allowed on request. An elevator is available. Wi-Fi is available for an extra fee (kiosk in reception). The pool area is open from June 20th to September 15th. Bed linens and towels are included. Final cleaning is included.

Pros: The weather, travelling by train. Cons: The lack of information about the whereabouts of La Torre in relation to public transport, the complete lack of entertainment and opportunities to eat out within a mile, the disruption caused by a reception refurb, the inability of reception to deal with anything "ask the owner". And, nothing to do with you, the 7am return flight which led to our spending the last night at Malaga aiport.

Pros: Hi. We spent 2 months during 2020 winter in Lars' apartment. The apartment is very cozy, and has outstanding view. Better than it is pictured! The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need (dishes, microwave, iron, towels, beach supply etc.). Everything works properly, as described... and concierge service downstair is very helpful as well. Internet is ok, and priced at 20 euro per month per device (10 euro if 10 days). Communication with Lars is easy and smooth. Highly recommended! It has an outstanding value compared to prices in the area, and we were definitely happy with our choice. We are happy with our choice. Planning to come back next winter :)

Pros: We decided to go along to Torremolinos with a friend and her family - they stayed in the block next to us. The pool was lovely - clean, good condition, all the rest of it. The residents were very friendly and helpful - despite us lot invading their space! The beach is down the hill - it is large, catered, very clean. Sun loungers 4 euros a day - well worth it. Our apartment was newly refurbished, and to a great standard. Everything went well.

Pros: Upon the arrival we found the apartment extremely repellent - there was hair on the bed sheet, duvet and pillow cases as well as the mix of both hair and dust on the floor. We called the owner asking whether the property had been cleaned before our arrival and his response was positive. After we had explained the situation, he sent the cleaner upstairs whereas we went to the restaurant. We were exhausted after the flight so we were not happy to find her still cleaning after we came back from the restaurant. It took about 3 hours for the cleaner to clean the flat!!! (which was already clean according to the owner!). We then tried to go swimming in the outdoor pool but apparently you can only enter the pool area with a special card issued at the reception of the building, and the receptionist explained that the home owner is supposed to provide us with it. In addition to this, we had no information on who we should pay the rental to so we called the owner again, and he told us to find a guy at the real estate agency located outside the building. The estate agent accepted our money in cash and provided us with the pool card. A few days before our departure we rented a car and came to see the estate agent to ask whether there is an allocated parking slot for the flat (spoiler alert: there is no allotted slot so you need to park anywhere you find a space which is incredibly difficult at peak times, not to mention the safety). The weirdest thing is that the real estate agent started to ask us questions about the cleanliness of the flat on the first day we arrived; it felt more like an interrogation or blaming rather than conversation. In short, he was talking as if we trashed the flat upon the arrival and then we called the owner to clean it again. Unfortunately to him, we took the photographs as the evidence as soon as we spotted those repellent issues so he did not have much to say after getting to know that. Oh and there was one more quite disturbing thing.. On our first day, after the apartment had been finally cleaned, the owner texted us saying that "someone was using the apartment without our knowing". The questions that crossed our minds at that time were: "Is this a joke?!' and "How is that even possible?!". By the way, there was something wrong with the water pressure in the shower and in addition to that there was no kettle in the flat although it had been promised to us months ago. Overall, we had a very disappointing holiday experience because of the issues with the apartment; on the other hand, Torremolinos is a lovely place with incredible atmosphere and beaches. We do recommend you to visit Torremolinos but not to stay in the apartment described above. We visited Ronda after leaving Malaga region, and we can assure you that there are much better properties that are clean and tidy upon arrival.

The appartment is located near the trainstation and near the beach! Halfway down to the beach is a fitnesscenter located with a good range of training possibilities such as gym, spinning, crossfit etc.

Pros: My boyfriend and I have spent 10 days in the Lars's apartment. All clean when we arrived, with beautiful views over the sea and mountains. All new and very cute. The air conditioning did not work, but Lars was very attentive and fixed soon. The perfect pool (very large and well maintained) and surroundings. We had not trouble to parking. Near the beach, about 15-20 min walking. A bit far from downtown, but there is a bus that stops near the old town. All rental procedures clear and well made. We are very happy with the floor, we hope to return next year.

Pros: Contacte con el propietario de las y me dijo que tenia libre para 10 días y me da las fechas. Yo de dije que no podía ir los 10 días porque no tenía tantas vacaciones en esas fechas... y le pregunto si me puede alquilar para 8 o 9 días, dentro de la fecha que me puso (osea que serían 1 o 2 días menos). Al ver que no me responde el dueño, le mando un email el días siguiente preguntándole si nos va a alquilar esos días o no. No me contesta, y el segundo día le mando un mail diciendole que me responda rápido por favor, que si no me van ha quitar otras casas que tenía echado el ojo... pues nada, no me contesta. Entonces, le mando otro email (tercer día sin respuesta...), y al final, la noche del tercer día o el cuarto día (no recuerdo exacto), me contesta diciendo que ya lo tiene alquilado... Y yo me quedo alucinado.... Si me dijo a mi si quería la casa para 10 días en una determinada fecha, luego yo le pregunto si puede ser para 8 o 9 días, y en vez de decirme que si quiero me alquila para los 10 días o nada, va y le alquila a otra persona; y eso después de estar esperando 3 o 4 días... O sea que si el otro le fallaba me diría a mi que estaba libre... Pues me dio muchísima rabia, porque yo estaba antes, y por lo menos me tenía que haberme dicho que si quería tenia que pagar los 10 días, y luego yo ya decidiría si me interesaba o no (igual por el precio me interesa pagar los 10 días, porque me sale más barato que otro 8 días...), pero nada, después de tenerme 3-4 días sin contestar a mis mails que le mandaba, y tenerme de de los nervios porque no sabia nada de el, derrepente me dice que esta alquilado.... Pues vaya, por mi parte nunca mas pienso hacer tratos con el... porque después de estar esperando 3-4 días te deja tirado. Que no os pase lo mismo...
