About this cabin rental
Hiking, biking, skiing, or simply relaxing and unwinding amid the natural beauty of the Thuringian Forest. Our Finnish-style cabin in Rauenstein—in the municipality of Frankenblick in the southern Thuringian district of Sonneberg—offers the best opportunities for all of this. Nestled in the heart of nature, it’s also just a 5-minute walk to the town center. Look forward to the cozy living/sleeping area with a tiled stove, the dining room with a balcony and a great view, and the attic with additional sleeping accommodations. A stylish bathroom and a superbly equipped kitchen leave nothing to be desired.
The garden, featuring a large and a small terrace, invites you to linger, barbecue, and relax.
There are plenty of activities and things to discover around Rauenstein and the Thuringian Forest for guests of all ages.

Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und haben die Zeit am Osterwochenende in der gemütlichen und bestens ausgestatteten Hütte bei sonnigem Wetter sehr genossen. Herzlichen Dank an Familie Ortlieb. Es war alles wunderbar.
