Ahoy, Moin, and a warm welcome to our vacation rental “Sandhaus am Nordbad”—right next to Nordstrand Beach!
This centrally located apartment is perfect for a vacation with up to four people. With two separate bedrooms, a spacious living/dining room, a large bathroom, and a new, exclusive, and fully equipped kitchen, it offers you a wonderful place to feel completely at home on Borkum.
Unwind to your heart’s content—here you can enjoy a vacation that nourishes your mind, body, and soul!
The cozy living/dining area of the vacation apartment is furnished with a sofa suite, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a stereo system, as well as a bright and inviting dining nook.
The state-of-the-art, fully equipped kitchen, installed in December 2025—featuring, among other things, an induction cooktop, a microwave with an integrated oven, a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, and various small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, etc.) and new tableware—allows you to enjoy perfect self-catering on the island.
And what could be better than falling into bed, exhausted, after an exciting and eventful day?
The beds in our brightly decorated master bedroom are equipped with high-quality mattresses and box springs. A second flat-screen TV is also available here for your use.
The second bedroom is ideal for children or adult guests, as it features two single beds measuring 190/90 cm.
All the windows in the vacation rental have roller shades, ensuring a restful night’s sleep and complete darkness. There is plenty of storage space for your vacation luggage in the large master bedroom.
The spacious bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, and a washing machine.
Various extras are available for your use: In addition to a crib and high chair, the standard amenities include an ironing board with an iron, a hair dryer, a laundry basket, a collection of games, and various books.

Enjoy your vacation in a great location at our “Haus am Nordbad”! Our cozy vacation rental for up to four people is located just 150 m from Borkum’s main beach. Just a few steps away, you’ll reach the beach (known as the Nordbad). The kilometer-long sandy beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, relaxing, or taking a long walk. For example, you can reach the seal rookeries in about 30–40 minutes.
You’ll be staying right at the foot of the New Lighthouse. Numerous restaurants, cozy cafés and pubs, as well as lovely little shops, are located in the immediate vicinity. Bismarckstraße—Borkum’s main promenade—is just two parallel blocks away from your vacation rental. Ideal for any Borkum lover!
The health resorts are also very close by. This makes the apartment perfectly suited for companions of spa guests as well.

Zuerst hatten wir keinen guten Eindruck wegen des Umfeldes (über der Spielothek, gegenüber von Woolworth…). Aber die Wohnung war dann überraschend schön und die sehr zentrale Lage war super. Wir haben hier einen tollen Urlaub verlebt.
Nur die Aussicht aus der Wohnung ist nicht so schön. Aber sobald man auf die Straße geht ist links der neue Leuchtturm und rechts schon fast das Meer, toll.

Schöne, unscheinbare Wohnung in optimaler Lage mit netten Anwohnern in der Nähe. Ca. 5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt und der Leuchtturm in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir würden/ werden diese Wohnung immer wieder gerne nehmen. Es ist in meinen Augen alles vorhanden, um einen entspannten Urlaub zu haben.

Super schöne und toll eingerichtete Unterkunft. Hunde sind hier willkommen. Die Reinigung der Wohnung ist so gründlich, das nicht ein Hundehaar gefunden wurde. Da dies ja meistens das Argument von Appartments ist wo keine Hunde erlaubt sind. Die Küche ich super ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
