About this house rental
Vacation home in a quiet location—includes a patio, garden, smokehouse, and Wi-Fi
The "Seelöwe" vacation home accommodates up to 4 people and is located in the heart of the idyllic fishing village of Breege. You can stay here not far from the harbor. The location, set back from the street and directly adjacent to a field, guarantees peace and relaxation. Restaurants, the harbor, and the island market for daily shopping are within walking distance. You can reach the Schaabe, Rügen’s 12-kilometer-long sandy beach, in just a few minutes by bike or with a short walk along the village street. On the terrace**** located right in front of the house, you can enjoy your breakfast or relax in the evening with a barbecue** and wind down the day with a glass of wine. A large umbrella provides cooling shade when needed. You can smoke the day’s catch to your liking* in the smoker. A large freezer is available for your use in the outbuilding on the property. The garden behind the house offers an unobstructed view of Rügen’s fields. Experience fantastic sunsets here. A parking space **** for your car is also available on the property*****, which is lived in and managed by the owner. The “Seehund” vacation bungalow is located on the same property and can be booked together with this vacation home, subject to availability.
The vacation home itself features a fully equipped kitchen on the first floor with a stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. The directly adjacent living area features a cozy couch and a TV. The clever layout allows you to watch TV even from the light-filled dining area. The electric fireplace provides cozy warmth when needed and creates a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. On the upper floor of the vacation home, you’ll find the bedroom, which is furnished with one double bed, two single beds***, and a closet in the entryway.
Please note that in addition to the room rate—and depending on the season and the age of our guests—a visitor’s tax is payable. You can find more detailed information about the tourist tax here:
* Guests must provide their own smoking supplies.
** Daily necessities, as well as firewood, charcoal, and fire starters, are not provided.
*** Bed linens and towels are not included in the rental price. These can be booked as add-ons.
**** Parking is suitable for passenger cars. RVs or minivans are permitted only by prior arrangement.

The holiday home was clean. You can tell it is already a bit older but made with quality materials. Very well equipped with almost everything you need. Possibility to cook your own meal. Easy to operate and working oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker for grinded coffee and water cooker. And everything worked.
Location pro:
- Close to see shore and beach.
- Very quiet area, see also con below.
Location con:
- Construction work ongoing next door. Noises between 07:30 and 16:00. Did not bother us too much because we were out and about most of the day.
- Limited diner restaurant options in Breege and Juliusruh.
- We had trouble finding the keybox. It is quite small and inside a window frame. Also locking the box took some efforts. It seems you have to use your code again also to lock it.
- Parking space is private but access to it is tight and turning car is a challenge. Despite camera I managed to damage car on wall. Not recommended for large cars.

Das Ferienhaus mit seinem rustikalen Charme ist ideal für den Familienurlaub mit Kind, Hund und Kegel. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre vor dem Kamin lädt zum Verweilen ein und so kann man auch mal bei schlechterem Wetter eine schöne Zeit verbringen. Auf dem Grundstück ist genügend Platz, sodass sich die kleinen und auch die Vierbeiner austoben können. Gelegen im kleinen Fischerdorf Breege sind es keine 5 Gehminuten zum Wasser und auch die Auswahl an nahe gelegenen Restaurants lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder! Daher eine klare Weiterempfehlung!
