To ensure we can pamper our guests in every way, we completely renovated and remodeled our entire hotel, reopening on June 9, 2014. In December 2016, we expanded our property with six new rooms and a separate breakfast room. As a result, our guests now have access to a total of 17 double rooms, 2 junior suites, 2 suites, and 3 single rooms, all featuring state-of-the-art amenities, Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a safe—and most with a balcony and a bathroom flooded with natural light.
The color scheme, which was already the basis for our restaurant’s design, is also reflected in the design of the rooms. Warm, dark brown combined with the white of magnolias meets elegant red and fresh green. These colors create a natural, modern, and elegant atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home from the very first moment.
Of course, your beloved four-legged friend is also very welcome at the Thalhauser Mühle!
To ensure your dog feels just as comfortable as you do, we offer overnight stays at a flat rate covering our costs.

This includes:
- a large, soft, and antibacterial dog mat
- a large microfiber dog towel
- a large tray with food and water bowls (food not included).

The Thalhauser Mühle restaurant seats 100 people indoors and an additional 80 people outdoors in the beer garden, on the sun terraces, and in the lounge area.Each of our restaurant’s dining rooms is stylish, cozy, and furnished with great attention to detail.
Start your day in our cozy breakfast room with a delicious, natural breakfast and a relaxing view of the meadows and woods surrounding our hotel! Whenever possible, we source the products for our breakfast buffet from local or regional suppliers, and with our focus on sustainability, we avoid packaged products as much as possible.
