Dear Guests, are you looking for peace and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? You’ll find it here: With hiking trails and bike paths right outside the door, the fresh air and scenery invite you to get active. It’s also ideal for remote work—with reliable Wi-Fi, you can work here in a relaxed atmosphere. Pets are welcome.
Pure nature—in the historic former forester’s lodge in the Weserbergland region
Welcome to our former forester’s lodge in Goldbeck! The house was built in 1905 and, since 2020, has been home to a lovingly renovated vacation apartment in the former attic.
Spanning about 100 m² on the upper floor, you’ll find plenty of space to relax: a spacious living and dining area with its own kitchen, a cozy sofa, and plenty of seating, a separate children’s room, and a new, comfortable bedroom. There’s also a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub, as well as a separate restroom with a washer and dryer.
A special highlight: The approximately 4,000 m² property is surrounded by nature. Put on your hiking boots—and off you go! Trails leading through forests, across meadows, and through fields begin right at your doorstep. Whether it’s a short evening stroll or a long hike to Rinteln, Hameln, or the Lipperland region—a new route awaits you every day.
And if you’re looking for a little more variety: Rinteln, Lemgo, and Hamelin are each only about 15 km away. Porta Westfalica, Minden, the Hermann Monument, and many other destinations are also within easy reach. Hanover, Bielefeld, and Paderborn are about an hour’s drive away.
Goldbeck is about 2 km away and has bus service. You’ll find shopping options in Extertal, about 5 km away.
Your four-legged friend is also very welcome! For a one-time fee of 30 €, we’ll provide a small dog kit with a towel, blanket, and bowl upon request. Please let us know if you’ll be bringing your dog when you book.
For accommodations for construction workers and laborers, please contact us in advance before booking.
Parking is available right on the property, and bicycles can be stored securely.
The vacation rental was designed with great attention to detail and plenty of wood—natural, cozy, and with the special charm of an old forester’s house.

es gibt eigentlich nichts zu sagen, weil eine perfekt und eingerichtete/hergerichtete Wohnung in einer absolut ruhigen und schönen Lage mit einer äußerst aufmerksamen Gastfamilie/Gastgeber für uns keine Wünsche offen gelassen haben. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt, es ist sauber, funktional und bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichtet - und das wichtigste, man hat sich äußerst aufgehoben und wohlgefühlt :-) - hoffentlich bis zum nächsten mal
