Hi there, welcome to “Ekke 2,” as we simply call this vacation rental. It owes its name to the island goblin “Ekke Nekkepenn,” a sort of North Frisian Rumpelstiltskin who stomps around in Sylt’s legends. “Ekke 2,” located in a typical Sylt semi-detached house, is a fabulous fit with a total of five rooms that can accommodate up to four adults. The star of the spacious living-dining area with its open country-style kitchen—all in white—is undoubtedly the beautiful, over 100-year-old “Mylin” tiled stove. The luxurious vacation rental spans a first floor and an elevated floor, ensuring restful and undisturbed sleep—not least thanks to the high-quality box-spring double beds in the two bedrooms, which feature attractive oak floorboards and well-designed built-in furnishings.

“Ekke 2” is located in the quiet northern part of Westerland; both the town center and the beach are just a few minutes’ walk away. Even though the apartment comes with its own parking space right outside the door, you don’t necessarily need a car here. A sunny south-facing terrace with a beach chair, umbrella, and large table with chairs, a crib, a high chair, an extra storage room for your bicycles, and an utility room with a washer and dryer—all of this proves that no expense was spared when it came to the amenities.
