3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms—the perfect family vacation for children of all ages! "Stella Baltica" vacation home in Kraksdorf/Neukirchen in Ostholstein
The "Baltic Star" offers plenty of space and activities for your family vacation: Its proximity to the beach (bicycles available), a large garden with a slide and swing, games, toys, and scooters make your children’s vacation an adventure and ensure you get the most rest possible.
The House/Amenities:
The living room with dining area offers a cozy atmosphere and, above all, plenty of space for board games and TV nights. A TV with satellite connection and a DVD player provide evening entertainment.
Bookworms who want to read a book in peace will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in our “Captain’s Room” on the first floor, which can also be used as a third bedroom.
A fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove with a ceramic cooktop and 4 burners, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster) lets you prepare delicious meals after a long day at the beach. A blender and an immersion blender are also included. A high chair is available for the little ones.
The spacious bathroom with natural light (renovated in 2017) features a sink, toilet, and bathtub. There is also plenty of storage space for your personal belongings. A changing table, children’s toilet seat, and “potty” are also included. The washing machine is located here as well. A shower room was also added in 2016.
The bright and cheerful children’s room is located on the first floor and, at nearly 30 m², is so spacious that your children can really spread out while playing. Playmobil, Lego, and various children’s books are already provided and are welcome to be used. Your children will sleep soundly in the three comfortable beds (90 x 200 cm). If needed, an additional youth bed (approx. 165 x 75 cm) and a fold-out bed (approx. 80 x 190 cm) are available. A travel crib (without bedding) is also available upon request.
The double bed in the master bedroom (on the 1st floor) measures 160 x 200 cm. The walk-in closet, equipped with a clothes rod and shelves, provides convenient storage for clothing, bags, and suitcases.
Important Notes:
1. Electricity is billed separately based on usage (at the currently valid electricity rate); weekly prepayment: 75 €—any difference between actual usage and the prepayment will be refunded via the security deposit no later than 14 days after departure.
2. No charging stations for electric cars
3. Please bring your own bed linens and towels
Garden: With 1,400 square meters, the property offers plenty of space for soccer, badminton, and Frisbee; the little ones will enjoy the slide and swing while parents relax in the lounge chairs on the terrace next to the (fenced-in!) goldfish pond.
Leisure: 4 bicycles (26" and 28") and children’s scooters are available for our guests. For parents with small children, we also provide a child bike seat and a “Bobby Car.” For the very little ones, there’s also a stroller.
Location/Surroundings: Kraksdorf is a charming and quiet village that is part of Neukirchen/Ostholstein. From Hamburg, you can reach the house via the A1 highway (Jahnshof exit). The vacation feeling begins as soon as you leave the highway: The route winds through the gently rolling countryside along the Oldenburg Canal, passing through tranquil villages and alongside fields and meadows.
Our semi-detached house is located directly on Strandstraße, from which you can reach the beach—where no visitor’s fee is charged—after just 800 meters.
The clean beach, supervised by the DLRG, isn’t overcrowded even on hot summer days, and snorkeling enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy. Even small children can play safely on the gently sloping shore. There’s also a volleyball net and a swimming island for experienced swimmers.
Right at the beach entrance is a cozy restaurant where you can get pizza, fries, and various local fish dishes at reasonable prices (also “TO GO”). Next to it is a small supermarket that offers fresh bread rolls and various everyday items every day from April through early October.
Cyclists will appreciate the well-developed network of bike paths. The house comes with 4 bicycles (28"/26"), which can be used free of charge.
