Very impressed with Kinneil Self Catering

Excellent attention from Ute. Beautiful setting overlooking the sea and the Holy Island. Comfortable and large bed, large living room with lots of character. Everything we needed in kitchen. Spotlessly clean bathroom, lovely shower. You can walk easily to Lamlash where there are a selection of Restaurants and cafés.

We liked everything and we had no complaints.

Gorgeous location - stunning view

The apartment was clean and has a spectacular view. The owner friendly and very helpful.

Whilst the decor is dated the facilities are adequate for a short stay but as others have commented the lack of Wi-Fi is a constraint unless you can get a mobile signal which we could not.

The Eagle Apartment has a breathtaking view across Lamlash Bay

The Eagle Apartment is at first floor level with a wonderful sea view across Lamlash Bay. The apartment is an extension to an historic house surrounded by mature gardens. The style of the apartment has a flavour of times past. It’s only 5 minutes drive away from the ferry, nearby Lamlash is the island’s capital, spacious parking on site, the apartment is warm and clean. A coastal walk to the East soon reaches a nature conservation zone with seals, otters and sea birds. Sunrise across the bay followed by the dawn chorus are not to be missed!

The fantastic view of Holy Isle. Walking along the seashore. There are lots of interesting places to visit on Arran. Goatfell is a great mountain to climb.

Decor of apartment, particularly the stairway to the front door, a little tired. The location more than made up for this.

We had a lovely stay, despite the lack of wi-fi.

Beautiful location. Ute was very friendly and helpful and the flat was warm, clean and comfortable.

The only downside was the lack of wi-fi. This made it hard for us to plan our day and get up to date information about sights and attractions without having to leave the flat. Even using data, the signal was quite poor and slow.

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location. Absolutely loved it. Ute was great and really accommodated us with our early/late ferry bookings and recommended some great places forcus to visit. Lovely touch of fresh flowers in several rooms of the accommodation.

Full of character having a spaceous lounge with a wonderful aspect looking out over the bay.

Some areas in need of a little tender loving care. In the kitchen, the oven in particular needs updating. Only had a fridge with no freezer compartment!

A lovely apartment with amazing views

The view from the balcony and the location- very easy walk into the village for shops and restaurants.

We were made aware beforehand that there was no WiFi in the apartment but hadn't realised that there was virtually no phone signal either, so communications are very difficult.

The location was fabulous, there was everything that you needed, the bed was really comfortable and verandah an extra bonus, we would definitely go back .
