There’s Beaumaris just down the road, home to a moated castle which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can take a boat ride over to Puffin Island at certain times of the year or drop your crab lines off the pier. The centre of Menai Bridge is also only a short distance, here you’ll find many independent shops and a wealth of places to eat out. There’s something for every interest in the area, from scenic walks, beautiful beaches and bike trails, to water sports and so much more. With the added bonus of a fantastic shorefront pub 100 yards from the back door.
