The open plan living/dining room looks out onto the private garden where the only sounds you will hear is the birdsong, and of course the donkeys, sheep and Shetland ponies will wander up to the garden wall to say hello! Enjoy the comfort of your very own four-poster bed with comfy mattresses. Then you can be totally spoilt in the private hot tub with a glass of bubbly enjoying the starry skies at night. A number of packages from breakfast and pre-pared cook yourself meals are available, plus special packages for celebrations such as birthdays.
Whilst Lily Rose Cottage enjoys this idyllic location you are only a short drive from the small bustling town of Brampton - so perfect all round. Set in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country, Lily Rose Cottage is ideal for exploring the area. A must of course is a walk along Hadrian’s Wall. Your walk may take you to the 12th-century Lanercost Priory which is delightful. You can also Birdoswald Fort along with tea rooms and a museum, just 2 miles away. Vindolanda and Housesteads are also close by, around 10 miles away. Talkin Tarn Country Park, 2 miles from Brampton, with its 65-acre lake set amid 120 acres of farmland and woodland is another lovely day out. The Tarn is an ideal place for recreation or a quiet stroll through the mature woodlands. Taking a drive out in the car and within 20 minutes you can be in the beautiful border city of Carlisle, with its array of high street shopping, and within 30 minutes you could be over the border into Scotland or the Lake District National Park. So much to choose from. Return to Lily Rose Cottage and enjoy your hot tub - perfect! Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.
