Rose and Rosemary is part of a carefully restored farmhouse measuring 170 square meters, nestled in the beautiful and fragrant Tuscan countryside. It is completely self-contained, accommodating up to 6 people, and is surrounded by a fully equipped, terraced garden that is always in bloom—allowing you to enjoy the birdsong beneath a beautiful grapevine pergola or cool off in the lovely swimming pool surrounded by olive trees, with a view overlooking the valley. The house is on two levels: on the first floor, there is a romantic country kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare excellent meals, an elegant dining room featuring a beautiful tiled stove, a relaxing area with sofas, armchairs, and a large television, and finally a small bathroom. On the first floor, accessible via an ancient, original stone staircase, there are three romantic bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are double, and one has two single beds. The bathroom of one of the double bedrooms is located in a lovely attic accessible via a wooden staircase. The house features a wonderful portico overlooking unspoiled nature, where in the evening it is not uncommon to spot foxes, roe deer, owls, and many other animals native to the area. The portico is furnished with a dining table and armchairs. There is also a large, well-lit parking area on the property.
Montopoli is an ancient village in Tuscany that preserves many medieval buildings. Montopoli in Valdarno and its castle—which Boccaccio himself described as "illustrious"—were first mentioned in 1017, but recent excavations have revealed that the site was previously inhabited by the Etruscans and Romans. Walking along the town’s main street, you can see Castruccio’s Tower and Arch, and, in front of City Hall, the beautiful Belvedere terrace, from which you can enjoy a marvelous view of the still-intact tower of San Matteo. There is a municipal museum where Etruscan and medieval artifacts are on display, as well as a significant section dedicated to ceramics, particularly the renowned terracotta pieces from Montopoli, which have been exported all over the world. The town also features many religious buildings, some of which are adorned with important paintings.

This is a beautiful house in the hills just a 30 minute drive from Pisa airport. It was lovely to have ensuite bathrooms for each room. The pool was perfect for a small family group.The local village is around a 20 minute walk and you'll need a torch for the walk back. There are a couple of restaurants and a takeaway pizza place.It was easy to get a train into Pisa to see the tourist sites

This property is beautiful with stunning views and a tranquil setting. Perfectly maintained with incredible attention to detail inside and out. The interior is amazing with great decor, comfy beds and lots of special little touches. The pool is lovely and tucked away in the garden nestled in between mature shrubs, herbs and olive trees. We’ve stayed in many rental properties over the years but this one is definitely one of the very best we’ve had and top marks all round. Thanks Leonardo for your help and hospitality and for making our holiday so fantastic.

The photos do not fully capture the charm of this gorgeous house!It was completely renovated in the last five years, so everything inside is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The garden/landscaping is carefully maintained and the pool is fantastic!Leonardo met us at the check-in and explained the air conditioners, the washing machine, the recycling/garbage rules, the grill, and the various keys. He speaks great English and was helpful at answering all our questions. Each of the three bedrooms has it's own bathroom and air conditioner.We bought groceries (CONAD 10 minutes from house) and cooked our meals. It was exactly what we needed to balance out our vacation. We left town one of the five days to go on a day trip to Lucca (40 minutes away via back roads). Definitely recommend going and renting bicycles and riding them around the city's perimeter on top of the wall. Driving through Montopoli was a little intimidating at first because it's narrow at parts, but we quickly got used to it and there were very few oncoming cars. I also loved walking from the house into town to explore and talk to some of the local residents! Cannot recommend this home enough! We didn't want to leave!
