Superb
Room was nice and clean. The owner lives in the apartment next door and was very helpful. We had really hot weather while we were there and she very kindly left us a big fan outside the room without us even asking for it. Location was spectacular, right near the river,. We took a barbecue with us, its a lovely place to sit and eat. The locals were lovely and friendly, always said hello when they walked past. Surrounding areas beautiful, we went to BernKastel-Kues a 10 minute drive away and took a cruise along the river. It cost about £24 for 2 of us but was worth the money, alcohol is served on the boat as well which is good.

Delighted with value, quality,location, parking. Excellent location for touring area.
The apartment is "mature" but excellent. It is quiet, the beds are the best I've ever experienced. The bedrooms are very large and there isn't a squeaky floorboard anywhere. The apartment is delightful and we shall be returning asap. Close enough to Bernkastell, but Wittlich is as close and has some fine restaurants and stores. The flat is 1 street back from the main road. The street is very attractive, as is the village, and the host.

A dream flat, a perfect hostess - we wish we could stay longer - we WILL be back.

The beds were high, very important when you are low-mobility as we are. Although there is one flight of stairs there is a handrail. The walls are decorated with paintings by her husband - if I were a rich man I would buy the flat AND them!
