Maria was a very accommodating and responsive host.We thoroughly enjoyed the two balconies. One was covered , the other open, with different views from both.You can enjoy typical Madeiran living here. All amenities needed were local….you could be part of the local scene or easily access the busier city life by two bus routes.Thank you for a wonderful stay Maria.

A nice house with enough space for me and my 3 sons. The views were spectacular, spacious rooms and very well eqipped kitchen and a garage that was easy to access from the street. A nice welcome from Maria, who was also very patient with our misunderstanding of instructions. Since our stay was in januay it was quite cold indoors. There was no heating in the house. We also found the beds quite hard an uncomfortable since there were no mattress pads in the beds. Apart from this we loved the house, Funchal and Madeira and hope to come back soon.

Great view from this home, several blocks up the hill from downtown, but right between two bus routes! Wonderful living space with a comfortable, at home feel. Well supplied and everything worked perfectly. Great outdoor spaces, lots of room inside.
