About this cottage rental
Las Calendas de Atapuerca is a cozy house located 10 km from Burgos, 5 km from the Atapuerca Archaeological Sites, at the foot of the Sierra de la Demanda—considered the birthplace of El Cid due to the Monastery of San Pedro de Cardeña— flanked by the Arlanzón River and enlivened by the Mining Railroad route.
It is a newly built stone house in the village of Castrillo del Val, just 10 km from the city of Burgos.
The house sleeps four people. We have an extra bed that increases the capacity to five, not counting the option of adding a crib.
The house is spread over two floors. On the first floor is the living-dining room, which features a fireplace, TV, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. In addition, a door leads to the kitchen, which is fully equipped with a washing machine, stovetop, refrigerator, oven, toaster, blender, iron, Italian coffee maker, and capsule coffee maker (Nespresso), TV, tables, chairs, and all necessary kitchenware. The kitchen opens onto the patio, which features a barbecue, a chill-out area, and a dining area, all decorated with plants and lighting.
The upper level consists of two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds—both fully equipped with bedding and towels, a TV, an iron, a hair dryer, and a crib. The bathroom is also located on this level.
Outside the house, there is a small open area with parking for 4–5 vehicles.
