About this villa rental
Holiday home for 8 people in Colmenar, in the province of Malaga, Andalusia.
With a paved access and a private parking for four vehicles, the house is located on a fenced farm of about 9000 square meters and is distributed over two floors:
On the ground floor, which is accessed through a porch, we find a double bedroom with a double bed and an extra single bed, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and a living-dining room with a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, extra freezer and complete kitchenware.
The upper floor is accessed through wide stairs that connect with the other three double bedrooms with double beds and a full bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms has its own terrace.
In the outdoor area there is a wonderful private pool, a barbecue area and a laundry room. In the exteriors of the house you can also enjoy abundant vegetation and plants that surround the entire house, being able to find from fruit trees to aromatic plants.
Within the environment of the house, but independently, there is also a chicken coop where guests can have the fresh eggs of the day.

Our stay was fantastic! The house 10/10. It had everything to make our stay special. So much cutlery, crockery, glasses etc. It was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The outside spaces were amazing as was the pool and views. Pepe, our host was kind and very helpful. We picked fruit from the trees and had fresh eggs from the chickens. What more could you ask from a holiday. We will certainly be returning

Even though the location is only a 45min drive away from the airport, it's quite remotely located in the mountains. Pepe will pick you up from the nearby gas station and you'll drive the last part together. Approaching from the road, you initially do not even see the house, but once you make the turn you're suddenly in front of a gate which turns out to be the gate to one of the most green and relaxing holiday spaces we have experienced as a family. The mountains itself are rocky and dry, but none of that you notice once you pass through the gate. There is a big, green garden all around the house and the swimming pool. The house and pool are constructed/decorated with natural stone mostly, which gives a very authentic feel to the place. The house is super complete. The pool, the top-notch BBQ place, the straw umbrellas - all of it is as advertised on the great pictures. Then there are chickens and fruit trees to provide you with eggs and fruits, all delicious. Even though we have not used much the house internally during the day, the feel is quite cosy with air conditioning in all rooms. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bed rooms are spacious with sufficient closet space and decent mattresses. Then to finalise, the best of all must be the host. Pepe has build the place himself, starting 20 years ago, and it is clear he has given it his whole heart and wants to share its beauty with his guests. He explained us how through all irrigations etc he uses 12 m3 (!!!) of water per day to keep the place green and the pool full. Francisco helps him, and together they are 100% committed to provide you with the best possible experience you could have. At this point it should come as no surprise that this place comes highly recommended!
