Luxury 140sqm apartment in a historical “Palazzo” in Asolo central square with fascinating views on Queen Cornaro’s Castle, Villa Scotti Pisani and the Duomo.
Set in the main Piazza (square) of Asolo Historic Center, Palazzo Benassi has maintained intact the authenticity of the 18th Century’s frescoes and “marmorini” as well as in the unique remarkable antique furniture. During the recent renovation the caring landlady, who inherit the long-owned Palazzo by her family, equipped it with contemporary amenities making it the perfect home for discerning travelers.
It is composed of a huge living room that offers stunning panoramic views over the town center and the magnificent Queen Cornaro’s Castle, a very bright dining area, a modern and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, juicer, etc.), two double bedrooms (one with queen size bed and the second with 2 singles that can be used as double on request), a TV room with double sofa-bed that can be used as an extra bedroom, two full bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub), a small laundry space with washing machine and dryer.
A storage is also available for bicycles and golf equipment and there is free Wi-Fi connection. An air conditioning system hasn’t been installed because not necessary, being a north and west facing apartment with plenty of natural cross-ventilation. There is an efficient heating system instead, for cozy stays in winter. The apartment is perfect for 4 guests, but it can host up to 6 people using the sofa-bed in the smaller living room.
At the ground floor, a historic Café animates the central Piazza of the village and offers delightful breakfast, meals and drinks for those who don’t feel like cooking at home.

This beautiful apartment is filled with lovely antiques and located in the heart of this charming small town. We loved the bustle of the Cafe Centrale and piazza below the apartment, and this was one of our most charming stays this trip in Italy. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and the kitchen is loaded with everything you might need. Asolo is a beautiful little hill town to walk around and feel like a local. The public parking lot is right beside the apartment, which is very convenient - you just have to figure out the pay machine (ask manager to show you). This is a nice base for Prosecco tasting and sightseeing in the area.

The owner tastefully furnished her home over many years with beautiful art, rugs and antiques, and takes great pride in her home. A few items need attention to merit 4-5 stars and price: no internet service in apartment, broken coffee machine, worn-out mattress in Master, no car access or parking on Sundays (400 meter walk up steep hill with luggage), laundry left in dryer upon arrival. Asolo is a beautiful village and this apartment is perfectly situated.
