The property is in a great location on the harbour. However, being the harbour, it's got lots of ferries, car ferries, and boats, which make it very interesting, but when the large ferries are berthed overnight, they leave their generators running, which can be noisy. The property is on the second floor of an older building, and as such has great views, and is in a great location for the ferries. However, the entrance way and the stairs to access the property, which are communal, are not kept well. The property itself was very good. Very poor communication with the property owner beforehand. I had to follow up on emails, and then WhatsApp, and then phone calls, and on the day of checking in, I still didn't know how I was checking in. For a week's stay, one large towel and one small towel per person wasn't really enough, so we had to do quite a few washings. Overall a lovely week just highlighting several areas the property could improve on.

This property is perfect for your stay in Ischia. You can walk to the beach, grocery store, bar for a coffee and pastry or evening aperitivo. Restaurants are close be and I recommend Da Emmidio and Capuccino for a snack and a spritz. For pizza hit up Peccati di Golla. This property is close to buses so you can explore the island. Air conditioning is in the bedroom and great for sleeping if there are mosquitoes out and you need to close the balcony doors. Hot tub was terrific after a long day out explorying. Oh and the best part is that if you take the hydrofoil this property is a two minute walk from where you disembark.

Pros: Beautiful water view, near bus pick up, lots of restaurants near by! Cons: Must climb 43 steps to the apartment and there was some minor plumbing issues.

Superb location and very clean. Francesco responded quickly to our requests. But we were very disappointed to find only one bedroom after listing showed 2. The very small seating area with a sofa bed has only a partial curtain to separate it from kitchen, thus providing no privacy for users. Apartment might work for couple with children but not for our group of 3 adults.
