About this cabin rental
A cozy cottage fully equipped including wifi, at the Venjan lake for both winter and summer residence, with beautiful nature surrounding. About 200 meters from lake water, 3km from Venjan camping site and 4km to the nearest grocery store (Tempo) in Venjan center. Some of the summer attractions are swimming, fishing, mountain biking, and blue berry picking. The cottage is surrounded by blue berry bushes. Fishing license is bought at Venjan camping. There are a lot of mountain biking tracks around the Venjan lake. Some winter attractions are Sälen (Lindvallen, Tandådalen) which is 55 km, Vasaloppet control Risberg 28 km, and a lot of cross country skiing possibilities in the close vicinity. There are several walking trails around the area also. The nearest town is Mora with shopping malls and restaurants, 45km away.
The cottage is perfect for a small family. It has a bedroom with two single beds and an additional bunk bed for two, in the living room. There is also a sofa-bed for two. Hence in total 6 people can sleep. The cottage has a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and all the kitchen utensils. Living room with dining area for 4 and flat screen TV (Netflix, Disney and PrimeVideo included). Bathroom with shower and WC.
3km from Venjan camping site and 4 km to the nearest grocery store in Venjan center. Observe the opening hours of the local store. The nearest town is Mora, 45km away with shopping malls and restaurants.
NOTE! Guests are advised to bring their own Linen (bed sheets, pillow and blanket covers). However the host can also provide it for an additional cost of 100 SEK (10 Euros) per person. For safety reasons not allowed to charge electric/hybrid cars at the cottage. Guests must clean the cottage as before check-in and leave everything in same condition as before check-in. All the cleaning equipment is available in the cottage.

Quiet, Well-Maintained Property with Responsive HostPeaceful spot in a summer house area with excellent lake access - just 5 minutes walk to the water. Three swimming spots within walking distance, two with converted shelters (benches, table inside, grill on lakeside). Shallow sandy beaches perfect for small children. Property matched the listing exactly - all equipment worked as described. Bonus: fresh blueberries to pick in mid-August! Clean upon arrival. When a sewage smell developed outside, the landlord responded immediately and had the tanks pumped. All contact via chat but always fast and reliable responses. Solid rental with a responsive landlord who actually fixes issues. Ideal for families wanting quiet accommodation with great lake access.

friendly and flexible host, quick response emails and reservation, I was able to book last minute!
cottage is in a quiet cottage park-like setting.
neighbors on both sides, so not completely private.
nice view from the terrace, actually in the forest.
unfortunately not so much sun on the terrace
cozy interior and everything is present in the kitchen.
all in somewhat old condition, but everything works!
small bathroom and bedroom and the bedding has to be brought by yourself, which is not convenient.
Unfortunately, the house is not located directly on the water, but the beach is not far from the hut.
In the area and from the cottage several beautiful marked walks, especially along Lake Venjan, beautiful views!

We booked the house cause there was a motorboat. We check before we booked if it was included. However on the first day it wasn’t working at all, and we canceled the rest of our stay (since the motorboat was the reason of booking). Amir was very understanding, but we still have problems with getting the money back for the canceled nights.
